At least three persons were hurt when a fire hit a warehouse that is also used as a furniture factory in Barangay Balumbato, Quezon City early Tuesday morning, James Agustin reported on "Unang Balita."
As of 6 a.m., a second alarm is still in place in the area, which means that 15 BFP fire trucks and fire volunteers are needed to put the fire under control.
The fire started before 4 a.m. and spread quickly because of of the furniture that are stored in the area.
Stay-in employees immediately stepped out of the warehouse. Three employees were hurt, suffering burns in different parts of the body and were brought to the hospital for treatment.
Some employees said the fire started in the production area. They tried to put out the fire but failed.
