I was hyping up my mom out of my own excitement. All because of the crispy squid that tastes just like home. It's not even a fancy restaurant or anything. I don't do fancy. Well, maybe not yet because I'm not prejudiced. I mean, I'm open to three Michelin Stars as well. You know what I mean? I'm flexible.
But, yeah, their crispy squid is... *chef's kiss*
I usually get two orders of those, and some sauteed eggplants. With a serving of rice, of course, because you can get the 3 dishes + rice combo for only $14. Cash. It's one of those places that launder their money.
I kid.
It's my favourite low-key resto in good ol' Springvale, to be honest.
Because, squid.
And this post is turning into a merry-go-round of blabber, not unlike the thoughts currently swirling in my head and blending into Taylor Swift's You're On Your Own, Kid.
It's the heat, I reckon. 32 degrees activates the restlessness in me.
