Natasha Jung, representing the Municipality of Kananga, has officially withdrawn from the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant, citing "personal reasons" for her departure. In a heartfelt announcement on Instagram, Jung conveyed her decision to prioritize personal growth and commitments, expressing her intention not to involve the organization in her personal matters.

Jung emphasized her commitment to her individual causes, despite stepping down as an official candidate. She views this period as an essential time for self-reflection and to ensure she is in the best state to effectively handle her challenges. Jung is also taking this time to evaluate her future commitments, aiming to dedicate herself fully when the time is appropriate.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to have been Miss Universe Philippines-Kananga 2024, Jung also extended her sincerest apologies to the Miss Kananga organization, fellow participants, sponsors, and supporters, particularly Ms. April Tanhueco, Miss Universe Philippines Kananga Accredited Partner. She acknowledged any inconvenience her withdrawal may cause and thanked everyone for their understanding and support.

Jung's withdrawal came shortly after participating in the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 candidates' press presentation last weekend, with her absence from the recently uploaded official headshots by the organization sparking initial speculation among fans.

The reigning Miss Universe Philippines is Michelle Dee, who made it to the top 10 of the international pageant last year. Jung's departure from the competition underscores the importance of personal well-being and the challenging decisions individuals face in pursuing their dreams and commitments.
