In my first visit to Dumaguete as a 20-year old, I did not take photos of the hotels and resorts where we stayed in Dumaguete City. I never expected that I would become a blogger at this stage in my life, where those pictures could have been perfect material for my future blogs. Returning back, it is nice to know that there are more comfortable hotels in the city offering an upgraded level of service. Listing here some of them in no particular order.
1.) Go Hotels Dumaguete
Go Hotels Dumaguete is conveniently located near Robinsons Dumaguete. The hotel rooms are chicly designed. The staffs are also accommodating. There is a long table in the lobby where you can work remotely. I did not have problems on internet connectivity during my visit. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
2.) Bricks Hotel
Bricks Hotel is a truly captivating industrial-and-millennial-inspired boutique hotel, perfectly situated facing Rizal Boulevard in Dumaguete and offering breathtaking views of the turquoise sea of Negros Oriental. Your experience at this hotel is nothing short of exceptional. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
3.) Bethel Guesthouse
While walking from Dumaguete's Cathedral, we passed by Bethel Guesthouse. We have not stayed here but the guest house looks pretty decent as we observe incoming and outgoing guests. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
Note: Other remarkable hotels which we should pay a visit next time would be Henry Hotel Dumaguete and Flying Fish Hostel.
How to go to Dumaguete City from Cebu Province: Our journey originated from the Port of Liloan in the town of Santander, Cebu, a mere 20 minutes away from the Port of Sibulan in Negros Oriental. From the town of Sibulan, we just took a bus going to Dumaguete City.
