Hi. We're few days away from Valentine's Day. Did you even receive a boquet of flowers last year? I didn't. Not even a box of chocolate nor a love letter. We're sticking in self love, mare! Before we move any further, let's have a January recap..
So, on New Years Day, we had our annual family gathering. It almost didn't happen, tbh, but eventually, it did! They all went here sa balay and everything went well. Thank you, Lord! We had our games and gift giving. Hopefully, next year puhon, naa nay gifts si Kuya for all.
Also last month, I was able to attend a workshop in Butuan City. It was a two-day activity. We were the last group to arrive during the first day. Mejo ulaw kay they really waited for us to arrive before they started the workshop. Dapat next time, di na mi late uy! This workshop was sponsored by Relief International which will also sponsor our one-week training next week in Prince Hotel, Butuan City.
I was also able to get back to Davao before the massive flooding and episodes of landslide that happened last week. Tama akong statement? Pwes! Ikaw na mag-adjust.
Back in college, uso ang landslide sa Mawab and baha sa Monkayo. These problems were solved back in the day. For pila ka years, travelers and the locals were able to enjoy the pila-ka-lanes nga dalan from Monkayo to Davao. And because of the heavy that happened, it caused flooding and landslide which affected not just the locals but also everyone traveling from north to south, east to west. lol
Good thing, ambulance are allowed to use the main road. Or else, transporting patient from AgSur to Davao Region will be a pain in the arse. Literally! Sa kadugay sa byahe because of the alternate route provided by the local government.
As I am finishing this post, it's starting to get ngitngit even if it's still 3PM. Let's just hope it won't cause any floods this time kay luoy na ang mga farmers.
Stay safe and dry, everyone! xx
