As the events of 2023 shattered ideologies and illusions, many will see as on how the world really is. 2024 is interesting as the effects of the 2019-2020 Cancer-Capricorn Solar Eclipses lingers and with the convergence of epicenters of the solar eclipses from the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, the Taurus-Scorpio axis, and a part of the series of the solar eclipse in the Aries-Libra axis. While the truth is getting clearer by the day and the secrets of the distant and not-so distant past creep up, events will be more deadly. 2024 is special as it is the US election year, so one can assume the year to be tumultuous globally.

Here, we will explore the implications of the 2023 Capricorn ingress and the 2024 Aries ingress. Please know that the Capricorn ingress is supplementary for the Philippines and the USA because the 2023 Libra ingress charts are still in effect. There will be another forecast for the Philippines and the USA for the 2024 Aries ingress. Included in this forecast is a review of the effects of the lunar eclipse in Taurus. We also look back into the portent of the applicable previous solar eclipses. There will also be an illustration of the timeline of the effects of the applicable eclipses.

I will divide it into the Global interpretation, the Philippine-specific, and the US-specific interpretation. Please note the forecast contains astrology-related concepts, so I suggest reading only the forecast, which is in bold and italics. If you are from the Philippines and the USA, I suggest reading the Global Interpretation first to get a better picture. As the world's current hegemon, the events shaping up in the USA are critical because they will cascade into world events. Hence, I also suggest paying attention to it.

The Descent Into The Treacherous Chasm: The 2023 Capricorn Ingress

For some countries, it is imperative to cast another chart for the Sun's entry into the Capricorn world-point. The Capricorn ingress chart serves as a complementary tool that helps us see issues that were not discussed in the previous ingresses. For the USA and the Philippines, the 2023 Libra ingress is valid until March 19/20, 2024. You can review the forecast here. Figure 1 below shows the Capricorn ingress chart of Manila, Philippines (swipe right), and Washington, D.C., United States of America (swipe left).

The Global Interpretation Of The Ingress

Like always, our attention is on the planets the Sun and the Moon will apply to. We again begin with the Moon and see it waxing in the fixed, earthy, bestial, but domesticated sign of Taurus. She is in the domicile of Venus and in the sign of her exaltation. Its dispositor, Venus, being in Scorpio, is in the sign of the Moon's fall. From the significations above, we expect the populace to be practical and grounded; however, people could also be volatile and susceptible to diseases with its dispositor in the Moon's fall. The populace will put on foremost priority their welfare.

We look back at the planets she has separated from and evaluate the planets she will apply to understand comprehensively the significations she carries and will bring to the fore. The planet the Moon has separated from is the Sun. The first quarter of 2024 is eventful with the Moon applying to many planets as it applies to retrograde Mercury in Capricorn, Saturn in Pisces, the stationing direct Jupiter in Taurus, the retrograde Uranus in Taurus, Venus in Scorpio, Neptune in Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn.

Our attention is on the Sun, as the last planet the Moon has separated from and we see him in Capricorn; however, please note that the Moon aspected the Sun while she is in Aries and the Sun is in Sagittarius. The Moon in the exaltation of the Sun suggests the attention of the populace is on the activities of the leaders and eminent/prominent figures. Likewise, with the Sun receiving the Moon in the sign of his exaltation, the leaders are on the lookout for the public's perception, especially as it pertains to their power, reputation, and/or popularity. In Jupiter's domicile, the attention of the leaders is on the activities of the banks, financial markets, and the economy, but also on the outcomes of inquests. With the Sun entering Capricorn, the attention and concerns of the leaders remain the same as the Sun aspects the stationing direct Jupiter with a trine; the retrograde Mercury translating Saturn's light and applying a conjunction with the Sun suggests their attention is also on the issues in trade, commerce, transportation, and communication.

In Capricorn, Saturn and Mars rule the Sun and the significations they carry are what they will pay attention to. Saturn ruling the Sun portends the attention of the leaders is on issues and concerns in oil, coal, precious metals, and agriculture; they are also keen on the events involving the global mortality. The listed Saturnian significations play a key role for the period as Mercury translates Saturn's light to the Sun and the Moon translates the Sun's light to Mercury, Saturn, and Jupiter. The Sun's trine aspect to Jupiter with negative reception (wherein the Sun is in the fall of Jupiter) and the retrograde and combust Mercury separating from Saturn with negative reception (i.e., Saturn in the detriment and fall of Mercury) suggests errors in financial policies may further magnify and cascade all throughout the year affecting the global economy, the financial markets, and the banking industry. Mars, as the Sun's exaltation ruler, suggests their attention is still on the escalating diplomatic disputes. It may also show their attention is on the looming threats of warfare involving powerful projectile weaponry.

The next planet the Moon will apply to is the retrograde Mercury in Capricorn. Saturn and Mars rule Mercury. Mercury's retrograde, combustion, and rulership by the natural malefics portends challenges and concerns in trade, commerce, communication, and transportation. While the Moon casts a harmonious trine, the Moon negatively receiving Mercury or Mercury harming the Moon from the sign of her detriment, suggests the prices of goods and services are unfavorable for or it hurts significantly the populace. Perhaps the persistence of inflation and/or the increasing prices of goods and services discourage the consumers from spending. The public may experience a lot of communication, technological disruptions and malfunctions and is a highly prone to road and transportation accidents. In astrometeorology, there could be a potential for extreme cold spells but lacking in precipitation in the northern hemisphere and an arid period in the southern hemisphere with Mercury (the natural significator of the winds), occidental, retrograde, in a cold and dry sign, and with an added cold and further dryness to it with the Moon applying to it, a cold and wet planet, in a cold and dry sign, but with an added heat as it is waxing in the Moon's first quarter. Mercury has also separated from the occidental Saturn in Pisces, furthering the dryness.

Saturn is the next planet the Moon will apply to. Saturn rules the real estate industry, agriculture, subterranean resources (such as oil, coal, and precious metals), pandemics, and the global mortality and these are the concerns both the populace and the leaders will deal. Jupiter and Venus are its rulers and we will look at these planets to see further what Saturn brings to the fore.

Jupiter is also the next planet the Moon will apply to. In Taurus, Jupiter is peregrine, and in a sign contrary to his nature; with Jupiter, a hot and wet planet, and Taurus, a cold and dry sign. Venus and the Moon are its rulers. He is retrograde and in a few days will station direct. Jupiter has rulership over the economies and banks (but also global financial markets), the courts, and legal counsel. He also rules religion and the religious people. With it as the next planet the Moon will apply to, suggests the attention of the populace is on those listed significations of Jupiter. Jupiter in the domicile of Venus suggests the economic conditions for the period will depend on peace and diplomatic resolutions. People are also in tune with the outcomes of national and global inquests, as this period could also give rise to an abundance of legal disputes. While Jupiter will not perfect the sextile aspect with Saturn and retrograde Mercury has separated from Saturn and Jupiter, the Moon links them. With that, the economic situation and policies during the period will impose its effects on the populace. There could be concerns about financial security, the real estate industry, agriculture, and subterranean resources (such as oil, coal, and precious metals).

Jupiter exalting the Moon suggests the banks and financial institutions are very interested in commodities the populace possesses. In the earthy signs, these financial institutions are interested in hard assets. It is noteworthy that Jupiter has no regard for the Moon, but the Moon receives Jupiter in the sign of his exaltation. From that, sell 0ffs in commercial real estate continues to trend (i.e., banks acquire the properties from unpaid loans and mortgages). The planets in the earthy sign and the one-sided reception are testimonies of the soaring prices in commercial real estate, agricultural products, and subterranean resources (oil, coal, and precious metals).

Since these planets enclose the Moon and with the Moon in Venus' domicile but Venus is in the fall of the Moon, the populace will feel immensely and see the outcomes of these economic and diplomatic decisions. Venus will oppose and the Moon will conjunct Uranus in Taurus. This challenging configuration could augur disruptions and crisis involving peace, order, diplomatic resolutions, women's rights, fertility, and birth rate, reproductive health, children's health, and welfare. Once more, we could see and hear news of the demise and/or scandals of entertainment and sports figures. The Moon's conjunction with Uranus, its sextile with Neptune in Pisces, and the trine to Pluto in Capricorn portends massive shaking and a potential for literal and/or figurative explosive events that are extremely dangerous.

The General Temperament Of The Ingress

Coldness predominates with relative dryness, suggesting that the people's temperament for the period is melancholic. This could be a period where the people are apathetic and/or indifferent.

The general impression of the climate we get for this period is extremely cold but dry. The qualities of cold and dry suggest that while the climate could be cold, there could be problems with extreme drought. Mercury, the natural significator of the winds, occidental, retrograde, under the Sun's beams, and, in an earthy sign, portends a lot of dryness and coldness. There remains the extreme risk for fire and explosions.

The lunar mansion of the planets determines the level of moisture and its fortunateness. We will see in the following table the Arabic Lunar Mansion containing the planets.

By examining the Arabic Mansions, we can see that the Temperate-Moist dominates, implying a likelihood of moderate precipitation throughout the entire Capricorn ingress. On a side note, Mercury, the natural significator of the winds, in a cardinal, cold, and dry sign but also in a planetary phase where it brings coldness.

The Epicenter Of The Effects Of October 2023 Lunar Eclipse In Taurus

The orb of the intensity of the effects of the lunar eclipse in Taurus will happen in the middle of the 2023 Capricorn Ingress. You can read the full interpretation here for the Philippines, the USA, and the astrocartography.

Our attention is on the essential dignities of the luminaries and sees the Sun is peregrine in Scorpio and the Moon in the sign of her exaltation. Next, we look into the lord of the luminaries. Mars, the ruler of the Sun, is in his domicile and term in Scorpio. Looking at the Moon, she is in her exaltation and nocturnal triplicity. It is noteworthy that the Moon is Taurus' almuten, so she has a prominent influence in this eclipse. Venus, the ruler of the Moon, is in its fall in Virgo. Venus' ruler, Mercury, is in Scorpio. Hence, Mars has the final rulership over the eclipse.

Venus, as the eclipse ruler, in its fall and in the earthy, barren, humane (vocal, social, and rational), and double-bodied sign, portends the spotlight is also on the challenges in reaching diplomatic resolutions, issues on women and children's rights and welfare, gender-related disputes, and the declining birth rate. The eclipse also is unfavorable for the beauty, entertainment, and sports industry, where we will still see and hear news of scandals and the demise of prominent figures.

Martial significations become prominent with it as this eclipse's final dispositor. It is also noteworthy that Mars is in Venus' sign of detriment and the Moon's fall. From that, the challenges the fallen Venus portends will even be more prominent. Mars, in this mute and fertile sign (of many children) augurs disruptions and disputes involving the welfare of the populace, especially that of the women, reproductive health, fertility rate, and children. Escalating foreign diplomatic problems remains a concern with Mars in Venus' sign of detriment.

Mars, powerful in his nocturnal domicile, suggests covert maritime disputes (may involve submarines) and massive mobilization of the military and law enforcement (with the opposition to Jupiter). Mercury combust and conjunct Mars augurs a higher incidence of road and transportation accidents (especially involving boats, shipping, and fishing vessels), the extreme risk for fires and eruptions/explosions, and the potentially severe disruption of the supply chain. The maritime disputes mentioned earlier may involve projectile weaponry. Mercury, the natural significator of the wind, and Mars' rulership bring pestilential winds, destructive floods, and waves. This continues to be an uncomfortable period for the populace. The opposition between Mercury-Mars and Jupiter with negative reception may bring extreme events in the trade, commerce, banking industry, and the financial markets (including the cryptocurrency markets); this may bring to fruition the possibility of deflation or extreme market corrections as augured by the 2023 Libra Ingress.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the Lunar Eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see retrograde Saturn in Pisces, Mercury in Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter in Taurus, and Mars in Scorpio as the four planets the Moon and the Sun are closest to and they are the key planets in this eclipse. The eclipse portends extreme volatility (in the economy, financial markets, banking, and diplomatic relations) and augurs extreme earthquake and eruption/explosion risks. We will probably see a higher global mortality rate with Saturn's involvement. Please also see the other listed Saturnian significations in the General Interpretation of the Libra Ingress section as part of this eclipse's effects. With Mars as the ruler of the eclipse and powerful, this eclipse can be severely disruptive.

According to timeanddate.com, the entire duration of the eclipse is 4 hours and 25 minutes. We now look at how long the effects of this eclipse last using Guido Bonatti's method. Guido Bonatti states every hour is equivalent to one month, while every two minutes is equal to one day. Here, we get 4 months and 13 days, or 134 calendar days, for the lastingness of this lunar eclipse's effects. Figure 7 shows the schematic diagram estimating the duration of the effects of the eclipse across a timeline.

Now, we will identify the epicenter date where we will feel intensely the effects of the eclipse. Dividing 134 by 2, we get 67 calendar days status post the lunar eclipse. The epicenter date or the eye of the eclipse is on January 4, 2024, and when we consider 31 days prior to the midpoint and 30 days after, we get December 4, 2023, to February 5, 2024, as the months to look out for. The effects of this eclipse will probably end by March 13, 2024. However, January 2024 is the month to watch out for.

An Intensity Red Trailway: The 2024 Aries Ingress

The Sun's ingress in 0 degrees Aries is the astrological new year where we will start seeing new trends setting the precedent in the following months. In this section, we will also interpret the effects of the eclipses in Aries and Libra, as this will set the trigger that will shape events in the following months. Figure 3 below shows the Aries Ingress chart. I set the chart in the Philippines' capital, Manila (swipe right) and Washington, DC (swipe left).

The Global Interpretation Of The Ingress

We attribute the condition of the people to the status of the Moon. The Moon is waxing in the fiery, fixed, bestial, and temperamental sign of Leo. Its domicile lord is the Sun. It searches for counsel to the Sun in the daytime as its triplicity ruler and to Jupiter for those with nocturnal ingress charts. We will explore the planets she has separated from and the planets she will apply to. From the significations above, we expect the populace predisposed and/or exposed to anger, recklessness, and violence. However, with the Sun and Jupiter's rulership, people could also display courage, a sense of justice, and initiative.

We look back at the planets she has separated from and evaluate the planets she will apply to understand comprehensively the significations she carries and will bring to the fore. The planets the Moon has separated from are the Sun (in Pisces) and Pluto in Aquarius. Jupiter in Taurus, Mercury in Aries, Uranus in Taurus, and the Mars in Aquarius are the planets the Moon will apply to.

Similar to the Capricorn ingress, we see the Moon has separated from the Sun in a sign before its ingress in Aries. In this case, it is a trine with the Sun when it was in Pisces and the Moon when it was in its domicile in Cancer. With the Sun in Pisces as the last planet the Moon has separated from and as its ruler when it enters Leo, the populace is paying attention to its significations. From that, the public's attention is on the decisions and actions of the leaders and the people of eminence or prominence. The Moon in Cancer suggests the populace is vigilant of the leader's activities relative to their welfare and expects them to be extremely vocal about any issues, as it is with the fixed star Procyon upon its application to the Sun. In Pisces, the Sun is peregrine and conjunct the fixed star Scheat. We also see the Moon has separated from Pluto in Aquarius and the Sun applying to a sextile with it (we should note that Pluto is in the sign of the Sun's detriment, so Pluto's effects for this period are harmful to the personnel the Sun signifies). Its last aspect with the Sun in the fixed star of sorrow and Pluto in Aquarius portends the demise and/or revelations of reputation-tarnishing scandals of eminent figures that may cause their removal from power.

From here, we will look at the planets the Moon will apply to. Our attention is now on the Moon's square with Jupiter. There could be violent disputes and pressing concerns over the economy as it relates to agriculture (food supply), (commercial) real estate, and subterranean resources (i.e., oil, coal, metals, and other hard assets) with placement of Jupiter in the earthy, fixed, and domesticated sign and the Moon squaring from the fiery, fixed, bestial, and temperamental sign of Leo. We should also note that the Moon (from its opposition) translates the light of Pluto in Aquarius to Jupiter in Taurus by the square aspect, where we may see grave concerns and disputes over the banking industry and the financial markets, especially with cryptocurrencies. Perhaps it could be a period of global mourning and despair with the further ballooning of the global mortality rate.

Jupiter and Venus are in mutual reception where Venus is applying to Jupiter in his domicile and Jupiter is also in the domicile of Venus (receiving an aspect from her) and in the exaltation of the Moon. Since Saturn is in Pisces, we will look at what Saturn brings to the forefront. Jupiter's mutual reception with Venus and with both planets ruling Saturn suggest peace, order, diplomatic resolutions, the economic status, and activities of the banks (but also global financial markets), results of inquests, and court decisions will influence the commodities Saturn rules. It is noteworthy that the oriental Venus in Pisces (i.e., in its exaltation and as Saturn's almuten) will commit its disposition to Saturn by conjunction. From that, Venus will strongly influence the affairs Saturn rules more so than Jupiter. With Venus almost having absolute power over Saturn, peace, order, government regulations, and diplomatic resolutions will greatly affect the commodities under Saturn's rulership such as the commercial real estate, the agriculture industry, precious metals, oil, and coal. Jupiter under Venus' power suggests peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions will affect the global economy, the banking industry, and the financial markets.

We also look at Mercury in Aries now as there is a contra-antiscia with a mutual negative relationship with Saturn (i.e., Mercury is in the sign of Saturn's fall in Aries and Saturn is in the sign of Mercury's detriment and fall); the proximity of the Moon's North Node to Mercury amplifies the affliction. As Mercury further moves to the 18th and 19th degree, there will also be a contra-antiscia with a negative relationship with Venus. It is noteworthy that Mercury here is heliacally rising as it moves out of the Sun's rays.

The contra-antiscia with mutual negative relationship between Mercury and Saturn portends severe supply chain disruptions where we may see trade route disputes and restrictions to access (we may see embargo) severely affecting the commodities Saturn rules (agriculture, commercial real estate, oil, coal, and precious metals). We may see a very high incidence of deadlier road and transportation accidents (especially involving boats, shipping vessels, and water-related vehicles); travel restrictions and lockdown are a possibility. It portends severe communication disruptions and technological malfunctions with cybersecurity issues at the fore. This is not a favorable period for the mainstream media, social media, and tech-companies. There could arise issues in censorship and free speech. Communicable diseases are prevalent with Saturn as the natural significator of epidemics. Perhaps we may see many people getting very sick and witness the acceleration of the global mortality rate with the Moon translating Jupiter's light as it is applying to Mercury (in contra-antiscia with Saturn with negative reception). Alternatively, we may see and hear of news of events involving the air and air-space.

In astrometeorology, the linking between Mercury and Saturn is also inauspicious, where it portends deadly winds or weather; we may also see dangerous water-related calamities in the period covered by the Aries ingress. There may still be swings between extremes with the wind temperature, level of moisture, and force of winds with Mercury (a cold and dry planet) in Aries (a hot and dry sign) brings heat and a lot of dryness (with Mercury occidental and conjunct with the North Node) and its contra-antiscia with Saturn (a cold and dry planet) in Pisces (a cold, wet, and double-bodied sign) with an added moisture as it is oriental.

The contra-antiscia with negative reception between Mercury in Aries and the exalted Venus in Pisces (and Venus perfecting its mutual reception with Jupiter translating as well Saturn's light), and the Moon translating the light of Jupiter to Mercury augur critical challenges in peace and diplomatic resolutions resulting to severe supply chain, technological, and transportation disruptions affecting the economy, financial markets, and the banking system; the Moon translating the light of Jupiter and Mercury to Uranus in Taurus portends extreme volatility in the financial markets and the extreme risk of mega-quakes and explosions/eruptions. From all that, inflation continues to be a problem and may worsen but with it also comes the possibility of deflation and/or the possibility of an economic crash (with the Moon translating Uranus' light by opposition to Mars in Aquarius – Uranus is in Mars' detriment in Taurus).

We could still see issues on women's and children's rights and welfare, gender-related disputes, the declining birth rate, and problems in agriculture because of drought and extreme weather events. Mercury's contra-antiscia with negative reception with the exalted Venus in Pisces is unfavorable for the entertainment and sports industry, where we may see the demise and/or scandals of the industry's prominent people.

Mars is the last planet the Moon will apply to, and it is the planet that is prominent (and powerful) for the period as it is a masculine planet, in a masculine sign, and oriental. With the waxing Moon opposing Mars in the airy and humane (vocal, social, and rational) sign of Aquarius, we may see protests and rallies that could turn violent, a further rise in crime, and escalation of diplomatic disputes that may result to increased military activity; we may also see air-related events. It is another testimony of the extreme risk of fires, destructive storms, quakes, eruptions/explosions, and both natural and man-made calamities.

Hot and dry predominates, suggesting that the people's temperament for the period is choleric. This could be a period where the people are assertive but also impatient and hot-tempered.

The general impression of the climate we get for this period is moderately hot and dry. The qualities of hot and dry with cold and wet coming in close suggest that the climate for the period could be temperate. Perhaps we may see swings between extremes in the weather. Mercury, the natural significator of the winds, occidental and, in a fiery sign, portends a lot dryness and is contra-antiscia with Saturn in a cold and wet sign and is in a phase where it is moist. There remains the extreme risk of fire and explosions and the dangers from the inundating weather.

When we examine the Arabic Mansions, we can see that dryness slightly domination, implying a likelihood of moderate dryness throughout the entire Aries ingress. The March-April 2024 Libra-Aries Eclipses are potent and their effects quickly manifest, as they are equinoctial with them following immediately the 2024 Aries Ingress. While the Venusian and Martial themes remain prominent, Saturn and the Sun's influence are critical as they are the exaltation ruler and the almuten of Libra and Aries, respectively. Our attention is on the essential dignities of the luminaries and sees the Sun is in the sign of his exaltation in Aries and the Moon having minor essential dignity by decan. Next, we look into the domicile lord of the luminaries. Mars, the ruler of the Sun, is peregrine in Aquarius; it is noteworthy that Mars is also in the sign of the Sun's detriment. Venus, the ruler of the Moon, is in its exaltation in Pisces; the Moon's exaltation ruler, Saturn, is also in Pisces. Venus and Jupiter are in each other's domicile or are in generosity (since Venus has recently separated from Jupiter, there's no mutual reception).

Since the Moon is in the airy and humane (social, vocal, and rational) sign, we may see events involving the populace, birds/the poultry (industry), information sources (mainstream media and social media), and events involving the air-space as part of the effects of the eclipse. The Moon opposing the Sun from the sign of his fall portends harmful events to those in positions of power or to prominent/eminent figures.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the Lunar Eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury in Aries as the planets closest to (or will apply an aspect with) the luminaries or one of them and they are the key planets in this eclipse. The eclipse is another testimony of the demise and/or exposure of scandals involving prominent/eminent figures and of those in positions of power with the Moon translating Pluto's light (from the sign of the Sun's detriment in Aquarius) upon the perfection of eclipse. Alternatively, we may see protests and rallies that may augur their removal from power. There may be events surrounding the cryptocurrencies or digital currencies. With the Moon translating the Sun's light to Mercury by opposition, the period may bring many issues in communication (especially with mainstream/legacy media and social media) and travel; it may also augur technological disruptions and malfunctions. We will probably see a higher global mortality rate with Pluto as the modern significator of death.

Venus, as the eclipse ruler, in its exaltation in the watery, fertile, mute, and double-bodied sign, puts the spotlight on the critical importance in reaching diplomatic resolutions, of the issues about women and children's rights and welfare, gender-related disputes, and that of the declining global birth rate (especially that it has also separated from Saturn). Since it has recently separated from Jupiter with mutual reception, peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions may be beneficial to the economy, financial markets, and the banking system; however, with Venus in a double-bodied sign and translating Jupiter's light to Uranus may still bring volatility and unexpected outcomes (especially that Jupiter is also applying to conjunct it). Perhaps the expectations set for peace, order, diplomatic resolutions, and of the projected performance of banks, financial markets, and the economy for the period may be too good to be true. The eclipse is relatively unfavorable for the beauty, entertainment, and sports industry, where we will still see and hear news of scandals and the demise of prominent figures.

Saturn is the exaltation ruler and almuten of the Moon, so we will also look at it. With Venus as the last planet separating from it, peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions impressed upon its effects on the significations Saturn rules (such as agriculture, the commercial real estate, oil, coal, and precious metals). Mars as the next planet applying to it by conjunction may portend disputes involving the Saturnian significations. The conjunction of Saturn and Mars in this mute and double-bodied sign portends a lot of deceit and treachery in global affairs. In this watery sign, the conjunction augurs covert/passive-aggressive maritime disputes, a higher incidence of road and transportation accidents (especially involving boats, shipping, and fishing vessels), and may also bring a lot of inundating destructive floods and waves. According to timeanddate.com, the entire duration of the eclipse is 4 hours and 39 minutes. We now look at how long the effects of this eclipse last using Guido Bonatti's method. Guido Bonatti states every hour is equivalent to one month, while every two minutes is equal to one day. Here, we get 4 months and 20 days, or 142 calendar days, for the lastingness of this lunar eclipse's effects. Now, we will identify the epicenter date where we will feel intensely the effects of the eclipse. Dividing 142 by 2, we get 71 calendar days status post the lunar eclipse. The epicenter date or the eye of the eclipse is on June 4-6, 2024, and when we consider 31 days prior to the midpoint and 30 days after, we get May 4, 2024, to July 5, 2024, as the months to look out for. The effects of this eclipse will probably end by August 14, 2024. However, June 2024 is the month to watch out for. Here, we will look into the eclipse lines, the lines of Saturn as the traditional greater malefic, Mars as the traditional ruler of quakes, Uranus as the quake's modern significator, and Jupiter as the indicator of powerful earthquakes. The points of intersection show an extreme risk of these events.

A Total Solar Eclipse in Aries occurs on April 9, 2024. Figure 7 shows the Solar Eclipse in the sign of Aries chart set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

We will look at the luminaries and see that Mars in Pisces rules the Sun and Moon. It is noteworthy that the Sun also has rulership over the eclipse because it is Aries' exaltation ruler; with the eclipse also in the Sun's exaltation degree. With the Sun and the Moon in the fiery, quadruped, and bestial sign, the effects of the eclipse are on the livestock, that involve immense disputes and warfare, and may manifest as fire-related/explosions-related, and weather-related events. Since the Sun is in the sign of its exaltation in Aries and degree, the eclipse is critical to those in positions of power and people of eminence or prominence. Mars in the watery and mute sign of Pisces and its conjunction with Saturn (also in Pisces) suggests maritime disputes (that may involve the military and projectile weaponry) and accidents, issues involving the seas and fishing or aquaculture, the extremes in weather, and other water-related calamities. Still, deceit and treachery continue to be glaring with both planets in a double-bodied sign (especially Mars, as Mercury's dispositor, is in the sign of his fall and detriment). It is noteworthy that Mars will also apply to Jupiter when it separates from Saturn. Mars translating Saturn's light and negatively receiving Jupiter (in Taurus - the sign of Mars' detriment). Mars' negatively receiving Jupiter may bring extreme events in the trade, commerce, banking industry, and the financial markets (including the cryptocurrency markets); this may bring to fruition the possibility of extreme deflation or economic crash as augured by the 2024 Aries Ingress.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the solar eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see the retrograde Mercury as the closest planet, where we may see the effects of the eclipse on the significations it naturally rules, such as trade, commerce, transportation, media, and other information sources. We may see and hear of important revelations and events involving the airspace. With it combust, there is a higher incidence of road and transportation accidents. The mainstream media and social media continue to be in deep trouble and may undergo significant changes. It may also augur extreme weather related and man-made calamities. The 2024 Aries Ingress For The Philippines & For The USA

The Aries ingress chart for the Philippines is only valid for six months because of a double-bodied sign rising, while that of the USA's chart is valid until the 2025 Aries ingress with a fixed sign ascendant. For quick reference, here are the Aries ingress charts of the Philippines and the USA.

The Concerns & the Well-being of the Populace

In interpreting the ingress chart, we begin by checking on the status of the populace. To see how the citizens of the countries will do, we will look at three testimonies. The first testimony will be the condition of the Moon, and its Lord as the natural significators, the Ascendant and its Lord as the accidental significators, and the planets in the Ascendant as co-significators.

For the Philippines, we see the Moon in the second house, suggesting the people's attention is on the economy as it pertains to their welfare. With the Moon in the domicile of the Sun and as the last of the classical planets it has separated from, the public pays attention to the decisions and actions of the leaders and country's economic managers in relation to the state of the economy, the activity of the financial markets and that of the banking industry. As the ruler of the third house (the Sun) and with the Moon as the ruler of the second house, the populace's concerns for the nation's relationship with its neighboring countries (in economics, trade, and commerce) and the government's actions in addressing the issues.

Aside from the Sun's rulership in Aries, we will also look at it and its dispositor, Mars. Mars (as the ruler of the sixth house and the eleventh house and in a humane sign) suggests the populace's concerns about the nation's employment opportunities, workforce and working conditions, the decisions and actions of the military and law enforcement, the diseases plaguing the nation, and issues involving the nation's healthcare industry and its personnel. The presence of Mars in the ninth house suggests their attention is on the court decisions involving the disputes between the members of the legislation and the cabinet. Mars, in a humane (social, vocal, and rational) sign, portends we may hear and see protests involving the military and law enforcement involving the courts. With Mars in the Sun's detriment, these protests are crucial, as it may put those in positions of power and/or prominent/eminent figures at extreme risk. Alternatively, court decisions pertaining to prominent/eminent figures may cause an uproar among the populace. Mars in the airy sign suggests we may see air-space events and extreme weather events. Similar to the Philippines, the Moon in the Sun's domicile and as the last of the classical planets it has separated from portends the public's attention is on the decisions and actions of their leaders. With the Sun as the ruler of the tenth house and with the Moon as the ruler of the ninth house, the populace's concerns for the outcomes of inquests involving the nation's prominent/eminent figures and to that of those in positions of power; there are also worries over the consequences of the nation's diplomatic and foreign policies.

For both countries, our focus will now shift to their economies and we judge it by looking at the ingress chart's second house and its lord, Jupiter's placement and its lord; planets in the second house as co-significators.

In the Philippines, we see Cancer on the second house cusp. The Moon and Jupiter rule the house, wherein the Moon is in Leo (and in the second house) and Jupiter is in Taurus (and in the eleventh house).

Our attention is on the Moon with it applying to the exaltation ruler of the second house and, to that of the natural significator of the economy, Jupiter, where the greater fortune is also the accidental significator of the nation's partners, enemies, and that of the government and/or prominent figures. Jupiter in this earthy, domesticated, quadruped, and Venusian sign, in particular, could highlight issues and concerns involving agriculture, the commercial real estate, oil, coal, and mining. The Moon's application to Jupiter suggests that the strength and stability of the country's economy will depend on the diplomatic policies of the leaders, where sound diplomatic resolutions will be beneficial to the nation's economy. While it is a square, the application to a natural benefic may cushion the nation from the potentially extreme global economic challenges ahead. Perhaps Jupiter exalting the Moon and the Moon applying a trine to Mercury (carrying Jupiter's light) show the attention of the nation's leaders is on the country's pressing economic issues, the banking industry, the financial markets, and its impact on the populace. The Moon translating the light of Jupiter to Mercury suggests the economic policies and resolutions set by the leaders will greatly affect the financial markets, the banking industry, trade, and commerce. As mentioned earlier, Jupiter in Taurus applying to and the Moon translating Mercury's light to Uranus along with Mercury's contra-antiscia with Saturn suggests an extremely volatile economy. Concerns with the country's expenditures, debts, loans, and fiscal policies remain as critical issues. We may also see issues with the national budget and banks.

The USA's Aries ingress chart shows Sagittarius on the second house cusp. Jupiter rules the house. It is peregrine in Taurus in the seventh house.

Jupiter (as the ruler of the second house and the fifth house) in the seventh house and the Moon in the fifth house (as the ruler of the ninth house) applying to it suggests the events overseas, of court decisions, the nation's diplomatic resolutions and foreign policies, and the activities of the enemies of the state are very influential to the economy, the financial markets, and the banking industry. Similar to the Philippines, Jupiter in this earthy, domesticated, quadruped, and Venusian sign, in particular, could highlight issues and concerns involving the access to or the supply of agricultural products, oil, coal, issues involving the commercial real estate, and metals from other nations (with it in the seventh house). Jupiter exalting the Moon suggests that fiscal policies and/or laws involving trade with other nations are critical in the nation's economic stability. Jupiter in Taurus applying to and the Moon translating Mercury's light to Uranus along with Mercury's contra-antiscia with Saturn suggests an extremely volatile economy. Like the Philippines, there are concerns about the country's expenditures, debts, loans, and fiscal policies. We may also see issues with the national budget and banks.

The Government

The tenth and eleventh house are the houses to assess should we like to know how our leaders do. For heads of the state, we also check into the condition of the Sun as the natural significator. Planets in the tenth house and the eleventh house are the co-significators.

In the Philippines, Jupiter is the ruler of the tenth house, while Mars is the lord of the eleventh house. Jupiter in the eleventh house may mean the attention of the nation's leaders is on the concerns and activities of the legislation; the Moon applying to it portends their concerns on the nation's economy, the banking industry, the financial markets, and that of the national budget. With Mars in the ninth house, the attention of the legislation is on the diplomatic situation overseas. The Sun, as the natural significator of the leaders, exalted in the tenth house, augurs the government's grave concerns about how the public perceives them, especially with the Moon (the significator of the populace) in his domicile in Leo. As the ruler of the third house in the tenth house, the nation's relationship and disputes with the neighboring countries. With Mars in the ninth house, as the domicile ruler Mercury and that of the Sun (where Mars is in the sign of the Sun's detriment in Aquarius), and as ruler of the sixth house and the eleventh house, the nation's leaders and/or prominent figures may face disputes/issues with the military and/or the law enforcement and the legislation. Inquests about prominent/eminent figures and that of positions of power are a possibility and will be in the spotlight. Perhaps we may see the demise and/or the exposure of scandals to that of those personalities. Saturn and Venus are co-significators as they are conjunct with the tenth house cusp. We start with Saturn and he is the lord of the eighth house and the ninth house. Saturn (the ruler of the eighth house and the ninth house) conjunct the tenth house cusp augurs the challenges and concerns the leaders face in dealing with the country's debts, its financial relationship with other nations (in trade and commerce and its potentially negative impact on the populace), and the excessive national mortality rate. The contra-antiscia with Mercury with mutual negative reception suggests the populace's extreme dissatisfaction with the country's leaders; this is also a supporting testimony of the potential demise of prominent/eminent figures and/or the explosion of a massive political scandal. If we consider the outer planets, we see the Sun apply to a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius and in an antiscia with Neptune in Pisces. With the Sun's aspect to Pluto with negative reception (Aquarius is the sign of the Sun's detriment), we may see the demise and/or exposure of scandals of those in power and that of the prominent/eminent figures. The antiscia between the Sun and Neptune portends the exposure of issues involving substance abuse and treachery.

Looking at the USA's Aries ingress chart, we see Leo on the tenth house and Virgo on the eleventh house cusp. The Sun rules the tenth house (and is the natural significator of the leaders) while Mercury is the domicile and exaltation ruler of the eleventh house. The Sun and Mercury in the fifth house shows the attention of the government is on the financial markets, the nation's diplomatic relations, the declining birth rate, issues related to children, and on the sex-related and gender disputes.

Since Mars is the dispositor of the Sun and Mercury, we will look at it to get more information on what the leaders will do. With Mars in the fourth house, they may face concerns/issues involving the homeland security (as it pertains to their borders with Saturn, as Mars' ruler, is also in the fourth house), the disasters the country faces, on commercial real estate, agriculture, oil, coal, and that concerns the precious metals. Perhaps we may see the heavy involvement of the military and the law enforcement in keeping peace and order with Mars ruling the sixth house in the fourth house. The contra-antiscia between Saturn and Mercury suggests the decisions and resolutions of the legislation and that of the cabinet involving the nation's borders, its relationship with neighboring countries, and with the foreign policies involving trade and commerce will negatively affect the homeland security (i.e., Saturn as the ruler of the third house and the fourth house). Fiscal policies and diplomatic resolutions may cause an extreme volatility in the financial markets and portends a lot of uncertainty in the economy (with Mercury's presence in the fifth house).

Since this is a US presidential election year, we will get a quick overview of who may win the election. From both the natural and accidental significators of the populace, their preference may come from the challenger or from someone who's a newcomer. With Scorpio Ascendant, Mars, its ruler, is in the fourth house (the house significator of the challenger). While the Moon is in the domicile of the Sun (the accidental significator of the incumbent), it has separated from it and will apply to Jupiter. Figure 8 shows the Bi-wheel chart where the Inner Chart is the Libra ingress and the Outer Chart is Lunar Eclipse in Libra chart set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

Saturn (the exaltation ruler of the Ascendant, that of the second house, and as the domicile ruler of the fourth house and the fifth house) is conjunct with Pluto (the natural and significator of cryptocurrency) in Capricorn is in the subterranean fourth house. If we further look at the Crypto scandal and extreme bitcoin correction from the traditional planets, we see the eclipse conjunct with the fourth house cusp and the fallen Jupiter in Capricorn. Mercury is the closest planet to the eclipse. He is in detriment in Sagittarius and is separating from the Sun.
