Makati, Philippines, February 23, 2024 — iVolunteer Philippines hosted its 6th Partners' Appreciation Night, welcoming NGO and Corporate Partners for an evening of celebration and camaraderie. The event recognized its partners for their efforts and commitment to volunteer engagement in the country, especially as we encourage the volunteer sector to go back to physical volunteering.
In attendance were representatives from Corporate Partners such as Airspeed International Corporation and PHINMA Corporation, alongside NGO Partners including 2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation, Acts of Love Community, Arnold Janssen (AJ) Kalinga Foundation, Aral Pinoy, Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc., Citizens Disaster Response Center (CDRC), Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc., Fight4Freedom Inc., Golden Age of Life Society, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), Humanity for, Love and Peace, Karinderia ni Mang Urot, Kits for Bulilit, Kythe Foundation Inc, My Children's House of Hope (Bahaybata 127), National Youth Volunteers' Coalition (NYVC), Philippine Eagle Foundation, Philippine Jesuit Prison Service (PJPS) Foundation, Inc., Pink Women on Fire Corp, Project Pearls, Samahan ng Kabataang Boluntaryo ng Pilipinas, Silid Aralan, Inc., The Storytelling Project (TSP), and Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation. Government officials from the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency also joined the event.

JB Tan, the Outgoing Executive Director and Co-Founder of iVolunteer, set the tone for the program with a warm welcome and a review of the organization's accomplishments in 2023.
With over 160,000 volunteers engaged, 416 NGO partnerships, and Php 5.2M raised in donations, it was truly a year to remember. Key initiatives were highlighted for their impact on the volunteerism landscape nationwide such as the return of Go! Volunteer Expo 2023 conducted not only in Manila but also in Davao, the first physical celebration of International Volunteer Day and Destinasyon, impactful iVoluntree for Christmas, corporate-specific volunteering programs, the third installment of the Social Innovation Challenge, and the establishment of iVolunteer Mindanao. He also announced the commemoration of the organization's 15th founding anniversary this year.
The event also marked the introduction of Judith Apolinario-Follero as the new Executive Director of iVolunteer Philippines, succeeding JB Tan. Judith shared the organization's plans for 2024, including the much-anticipated Bayani Camp. This initiative aims to empower youth to engage in volunteerism, foster awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and social issues, and inspire them to take action and contribute to solutions.

Following this exciting announcement, iVolunteer Philippines announced its partnership with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency, solidifying their commitment to collaborative efforts in promoting volunteerism. Subsequently, an MOU signing ceremony was conducted, marking a significant milestone in their shared mission.
John Rey Remadavia, Social Innovation 2023 Top Innovator
The program continued with the announcement of the Social Innovation Challenge winner, John Rey Remadavia, whose project focused on addressing food waste through the utilization of Black Soldier Flies to decompose food wastes and promote food security through hydroponics in Cagayan de Oro City.
The highlight of the evening came with the announcement of awards and recognitions given to Corporate and NGO partners for their contributions to volunteer engagement in partnership with iVolunteer Philippines. While every organization and partner received well-deserved recognition, a select few were particularly distinguished for their remarkable ability to mobilize volunteers and generate volunteer opportunities through the iVolunteer website. These partners demonstrated exceptional commitment and effectiveness in leveraging the platform to make a significant impact on volunteerism, they are:
