Manila, Philippines —The Department of Tourism (DOT) proudly joins the nation in celebrating the Philippines' triumphant bid to host the esteemed FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in 2025 committing its full support to ensure the successful hosting of the country.
Following a meticulous evaluation process, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Volleyball World have chosen the Philippines as the distinguished host country for this prestigious sporting event.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco expressed her enthusiasm, affirming, "The Philippines' hosting of this global volleyball event bolsters our sports tourism portfolio, driving economic growth, and highlighting the country's diverse array of tourism offerings that promise a truly unforgettable Philippine Experience."
Under the captivating banner of the "Love The Philippines" promotional campaign, the DOT aims to spotlight the nation's allure and hospitality to a worldwide audience.
"We are eager to showcase to the international volleyball community the many reasons to Love the Philippines: from our award-winning destinations, our mega biodiversity, our deep well of culture and heritage, the tapestry of traditions and talents across our islands, and the warmth and hospitality of the Filipino people. We reiterate the Department of Tourism's full support and commitment to ensure the successful hosting of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Championship in 2025," the Tourism Chief reiterated.
Slated from September 12 to 28, 2025, the championship will converge the world's top 32 volleyball teams, igniting the fervor of volleyball enthusiasts worldwide.
Secretary Frasco, alongside Senator Pia Cayetano, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), and various public and private stakeholders from the sporting and volleyball communities, threw their support for the hosting bid during a briefing held on February 29.
"We extend our heartfelt thanks to FIVB, Senator Pia Cayetano, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation, and other stakeholders as we reiterate the Department of Tourism's full support and commitment to ensure the successful hosting of the FIVB Men's Volleyball Championship in 2025," said Secretary Frasco.
Under Secretary Frasco's astute leadership, the DOT has consistently championed sports tourism by supporting major events such as the Iron Man Philippines: Rock n Roll Manila, the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M5 World Championship, and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
