The UP School of Economics (UPSE), in cooperation with the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED) will be holding trainings on the following:
- Introduction to R and RStudio
- Data Types and Objects
- Descriptive Statistics with R
- Basic Statistical Tests with R
- Data Management with R (tidyverse)
- Data Visualization with R (ggplot2)
- Regression Analysis with R
The trainings are scheduled to be held on the following dates: April 13, 20, 27 and May 4, & 11, Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
These face-to-face trainings will be held at the Elizabeth Yu Gokongwei Lecture Room, UPSE Encarnacion Hall, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
The trainer for these subjects will be Assistant Professor Adrian Matthew Glova of the University of the Philippines School of Statistics.
Participants for the trainings are expected to attend all sessions. Priority will be given to new econometrics students (e.g., Econ 131 & Econ 132) and new graduate students. Limited slots only. Other students and non-UPSE students may be accommodated depending on the available slots.
