Filipino skincare brand Pure Culture has received a Bronze Award at the 2024 THINK CLEAN™ sustainable beauty awards, presented by the Australian magazine Clean Beauty. This award celebrates Pure Culture's Wild Algae Super Skin Tonic, placing it among the top nine most sustainable and innovative beauty brands globally.
The THINK CLEAN™ Awards recognize exceptional brands that excel in sustainability, safety, and efficacy. With over 65 brands from around the world competing this year, Pure Culture's recognition highlights its dedication to creating environmentally responsible and health-conscious beauty products.
"We are incredibly humbled and honored to be recognized among such a distinguished group of global brands," said Alex Gentry, co-founder and chief innovator of Pure Culture.
The award-winning Wild Algae Super Skin Tonic 2.0 is crafted specifically for oily and acne-prone skin. This multi-use tonic is designed to be anti-bacterial and calming, featuring MicroSilver to enhance the skin's natural glow. The improved formula is lighter, more refreshing, and completely unscented, free from any added essential oils. It also includes prebiotic Saccharide Isomerate, known as Pentavitin, which creates a long-lasting moisture barrier, keeping skin hydrated for up to 72 hours.
For the past seven years, Clean Beauty's Organic Beauty Award has celebrated brands that stand out in the clean and green beauty industry. This year, they introduced a plastic-free preference and an invitation-only entry system, significantly reducing waste by over 50%. By pre-selecting brands that meet high standards for quality ingredients, sustainable packaging, and community support, Clean Beauty has set new benchmarks for excellence in organic beauty.
Pure Culture has led the sustainable beauty movement in the Philippines by championing eco-friendly packaging, ethically sourced ingredients, and transparent manufacturing processes. This award reinforces the brand's position as a leader in the next-generation self-care industry, committed to promoting a healthier planet and fostering conscious consumerism.
