Yes, you read it right! Before you continue, play this.
I just experienced the first ever concert in my entire life. It's no less than Radwimps itself! One of the memorable moments so far. From listening to Your Name's soundtrack to witnessing how it was performed live was just surreal. Up until now, I still can't believe I saw them live.
My 22 year old had screamed when they sang いいんですか? (Iindesuka?).
I cried a tear when Katawaredoki was played on piano.
Can you believe how Yoji (vocalist) 's voice is the same as the audio?
The crowd was unbelievable and how everyone sang their heart outs too.
The band acknowledge the atrocities their ancestors did before and apologized. They hoped that through their music, peace will be continued.
Since this was my first time, I was glad for my dear friend to experience the moment together. From our tickets (concert and plane), to accommodations and transportation she made it easy for a first timer like me. (Labyuuu Marbbbsss!) The concert experience was even made worthwhile.
Some of the things I'd love to share as a first timer:
- Prepare for hours not just one but we've waited for almost four hours in the queuing line.
- Next time we'll pray for seated tickets already. I guess we can't bear the standing hours next time though we enjoyed the moment at the Gold Standing that night.
- There's a lot of food that you can buy inside.
- Bring light things to avoid hassle.
- Enjoy the show!
Thank you Radwimps for the amazing show! I'm still on PCD.
Manifesting more concerts soon! Yay.
Love, A.
