A cargo truck loaded with corn lost its brakes and caused a major traffic incident at the C-5 and McKinley Intersection on Tuesday night, damaging 11 other vehicles.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that the accident occurred at 7:28 PM when the runaway truck collided with multiple vehicles. MMDA traffic enforcers and members of the Road Emergency Group promptly responded to manage traffic and assist the injured passengers.

The collision affected two lanes of the highway, leading to significant traffic delays in the area. However, two lanes remained open and passable for other vehicles.
