Mela Habijan is proudly celebrating Pride Month by raising the rainbow flag high. The Miss Trans Global 2020 titleholder took to Instagram to share photos of herself with the iconic flag representing the LGBT+ community.
"Wherever I may be, I will always be proud of my true colors," Mela captioned her post. "I am a transwoman, and that will never be an insult! Happy pride!"
In January, Mela moved to Madrid, Spain, to pursue a master's degree in business. She had previously enhanced her modeling skills in New York through a masterclass with supermodel Coco Rocha.
Mela gained international recognition in 2020 when she was crowned the first-ever Miss Trans Global, winning several special awards, including Eloquent Queen of the Year, Super Model of the Year, and Glam Beauty of the Year. She has also appeared in GMA shows such as "The Better Woman" and "Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko."
