A different kind of family drama invades primetime with Pamilya Sagrado.
The upcoming series stars Piolo Pascual, Kyle Echarri and Grae Fernandez. This marks Piolo's return to primetime after some time, as well as Grae's first leading role in primetime.
Pamilya Sagrado follows the lives the top heirs of the Sagrado clan. Governor Rafael (Piolo) does everything to protect the reputable image of the Sagrado clan and their political hopes. Rafael's son Justine (Grae) forges a bond with schoolmate and fraternity brother Moises (Kyle). One day, the fraternity led by Justine is in hot water following a hazing incident involving the death of a neophyte, which can possibly destroy the Sagrado name and reputation. Along with the family dilemma, Moises uncovers the darkest secrets of the Sagrado clan which are connected to his family's lives.
Joining the powerhouse cast of Pamilya Sagrado are Joel Torre, Shaina Magdayao, Mylene Dizon, Aiko Melendez, John Arcilla, Rosanna Roces, and Tirso Cruz III. The series, which is under Dreamscape Entertainment, is directed by Andoy Ranay, Lawrence Fajardo and Rico Navarro.
Though Piolo played leading men roles in the past, he is no stranger when it comes to solo leading roles like Lagarista. And embracing a more mature role as the family heir will be a different task for him. That said, the dark truth behind brotherhood, politics and reputation of Pamilya Sagrado awaits viewers come Monday.
