The month of June for us is the beginning of the waterfall season. Technically, this month is the start of the rainy/southwest monsoon season in the Philippines, which means rains enhance the beauty of the falls and restore them to the form we often see presented in scenic photos. But it can also mean a muddy, slippery, and sometimes dangerous trek to some of the country's most beautiful cascades.
