Barbie Forteza had a funny reaction when her co-star, David Licauco, arrived late to the premiere of their new movie, "That Kind of Love."
The Tweets
Ahead of the red carpet event on Thursday, Barbie tweeted excitedly, "uy may magmu-movie date mamaya." David followed up with, "Di ako malalate" and a smiley face. However, Barbie later tweeted humorously, "Eme eme ka naman, late ka e," when David did not show up on time.
Barbie's Comment on Their Friendship
In a Friday episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Barbie shared that she and David didn't click immediately, partly because David, often referred to as the Pambansang Ginoo, had a habit of being late. Despite this, their friendship grew "slowly but surely," and they are now close friends and a successful love team.
Upcoming Projects
BarDa, as their fans fondly call them, has several upcoming projects. Besides "That Kind of Love," premiering in cinemas on July 10, they star in the historical series "Pulang Araw" with Sanya Lopez, Alden Richards, and Dennis Trillo, set to debut on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on GMA Network.
