Every scenic spot, like the beautiful mangrove river view and even a charming corner of the plaza that reminded me of Baguio, became a photo op. We grabbed cheap iced coffee (mine for 39 pesos, theirs sans caffeine!), then settled by the baywalk to capture the fiery sunset. It was stunning, but just as the sun dipped down, a swarm of flying termites attacked! These harmless bugs freaked me out a little (I admit, I forgot to take a video, darn it! 😅), but they kinda tickled my skin whenever they flew around, haha! It was the perfect sign to head home, but my nieces, tired from the walk, called their parents for a pick-up. Determined to hit 10k steps, I wasn't giving up that easily! I soldiered on by myself, pushing through the darkness until the last tinge of light vanished and darkness enveloped the firmament. Finally reaching home, I knew it had been worth it. I reached my goal! Now, turning this 10k step challenge into a daily habit… that's a battle for another day. Laziness is still winning for now, LOL! 😅 | | |
