The southwest monsoon months of July to November are not the best time to go beach and island-hopping in the Philippines unless you want to experience how it feels to brave huge waves and strong winds – if the Philippine Coast Guard would allow you. Although there are stretches of sunshine and calm sea during this time, you would be better off trying other less risky destinations in the country.
