Traversing The Scarlet Ravine Mundane Astrology Series – The 2024 Forecasts/Predictions For The World, The USA, And The Philippines Part 2

Frustration and panic characterize the first half of 2024. The recent political events shook the world and the escalating diplomatic disputes were putting people all over the globe on their toes. These extreme and bizarre breath stoppers are far from over as we continuously traverse this long and treacherous scarlet ravine. With the US presidential election inching closer, the power tug of war further escalates with disturbing revelations and people and organizations showing their true nature and objectives along its course. While the ingresses portend events that are potentially tragic, these events are essential, as it will catalyze humanity's re-awakening and empowerment.

Here, we will explore the implications of the 2024 Cancer ingress and the 2024 Libra ingress. Please know that the Cancer ingress is supplementary for the Philippines and the USA because the 2024 Aries ingress charts are still in effect. There will be another forecast for the Philippines with the 2024 Libra ingress, but the 2024 Aries ingress for the USA remains valid until the 2025 Aries ingress. Included in this forecast is a review of the effects of the lunar eclipse in Libra. What's new in this blog entry is that we experiment with the basic planetary declination interpretation using Ptolemy as a reference. I will divide it into the Global interpretation, the Philippine-specific, and the US-specific interpretation. Please note the forecast contains astrology-related concepts, so I suggest reading only the forecast, which is in bold and italics. If you are from the Philippines and the USA, I suggest reading the Global Interpretation first (for both the Cancer and Libra ingresses) to get a better picture. As the world's current hegemon, the events shaping up in the USA are critical because they will cascade into world events. Hence, I also suggest paying attention to it.

Tumbling Over The Slippery Slope: The 2024 Cancer Ingress

For some countries, it is imperative to cast another chart for the Sun's entry into the Cancer world-point. The Cancer ingress chart serves as a complementary tool that helps us see issues that were not discussed in the previous ingresses. For the USA, with the fixed sign Scorpio rising, the Aries ingress is valid until March 2025; with the Philippines, with the mutable Gemini rising, the Aries ingress remains useful until September 2024. You may review the forecast here. Figure 1 below shows the Cancer ingress chart of Manila, Philippines (swipe right), and Washington, D.C., United States of America (swipe left).

The Global Interpretation Of The Ingress

Like always, our attention is on the planets the Sun and the Moon will apply to. We again begin with the Moon and see it waxing in the mutable, fiery, double-bodied, partly humane (social, vocal, and rational) and four-legged sign of Sagittarius. She is in the domicile of Jupiter. Its dispositor, Jupiter, is in the sign of his detriment in Gemini. From the significations above, we still expect the populace's predisposition and/or exposure to anger, recklessness, and violence. Jupiter and the Sun's triplicity rulership portends to display of courage, a sense of justice, and initiative.

We look back at the planets the Moon has separated from and evaluate the planets she will apply to understand comprehensively the significations she carries and will bring to the fore. The planet the Moon has separated from is Jupiter and will apply to Saturn; through the Moon's translation of light, we will see a primer of the effects of the series of Jupiter-Saturn squares in the period covered by the Sun's ingress in Cancer.

Our attention is on the Jupiter, as the last planet the Moon has separated from and we see him in Gemini; it is noteworthy that she has separated from her dispositor. In Gemini, Jupiter is in the sign of his detriment, but in a sign in agreement with his nature; with Jupiter, a hot and wet planet, and Gemini, a hot and wet sign. Mercury is its ruler. People are still in tune with the outcomes of national and global inquests, as this period will still give rise to an abundance of legal disputes. While Jupiter will slowly perfect the square aspect with Saturn, the Moon links them quickly, bringing forth their effects. With that, the economic situation and policies during the period will impose its effects on the populace. There could be concerns about financial security, the real estate industry, agriculture, and subterranean resources (such as oil, coal, and precious metals).

Since Mercury is the dispositor of Jupiter, we will also look at it. Mercury is in Cancer, the domicile of the Moon and the exaltation of Jupiter; there is generosity between Mercury and Jupiter. Looking further, we see the Moon is in the sign of Mercury's detriment in Sagittarius. We see it has separated from Venus, also in the sign of Cancer. The Sun's combustion and its application to the essentially debilitated Mars in Taurus and peregrine Saturn in Pisces besieged it.

Mercury in the cardinal, mute, and watery sign of Cancer suggests the critical impact of maritime activities and disputes in the conditions of the supply chain. The Moon, in Mercury's sign of detriment, suggests issues and concerns in trade and commerce will arise because of the activities and sentiments of the public; with it also in Jupiter's domicile, will affect the global economy and financial markets. Mercury exalting Jupiter augurs the status of the global economy, financial markets, and the banks will affect the conditions for business activities and productivity. With Mercury separating from Venus, peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions imposed upon its effects in trade, commerce, and in the transportation and communications-related industries; with both planets burned by the Sun, government policies and resolutions harm the significations Venus and Mercury rules. The state of the economy, financial markets, and banking industry will determine the conditions for peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions, with Venus in Jupiter's exaltation. The application of Mercury to Mars in Taurus with a negative reception (where Mercury is in the sign of Mars' fall) and Uranus in Taurus suggests technological, transportation, and travel disruptions. As it is translating the Sun's and Venus' light, the government's errors in peace, diplomatic, and economic resolutions may trigger or further escalate (the ongoing) trade route related disputes and challenging conditions in trade and commerce.

The last planet that Mercury will apply to is Saturn, and that is with mutual negative reception (where Mercury is in the sign of Saturn's detriment while Saturn is in the sign of Mercury's fall and detriment). Mercury here translates Mars' light, suggesting we continue to see trade route disputes and restrictions to access (where embargoes remain very likely) severely affecting the commodities Saturn rules (i.e., the industries involving agriculture especially with food supply, real estate, oil, coal, and precious metals). Still, we will see a very high incidence of deadlier road and transportation accidents (especially involving boats, shipping vessels, and water-related vehicles); travel restrictions and lockdown remain possible. Along with Mercury's trine with Neptune (with negative reception where stationing retrograde Neptune is in the sign of Mercury's detriment and fall), it is another testimony showing severe communication disruptions and technological malfunctions with cybersecurity issues at the fore. The mainstream media, social media, and tech-companies will continue to sink into the quagmire. Issues in censorship and freedom of speech persist. Communicable diseases remain prevalent with Saturn as the natural significator of epidemics and Mercury as the natural significator of transmission. Many are still getting very sick and witness the continued acceleration of the global mortality rate. Alternatively, we may see and hear of news of events involving the air, air-space, water, and water-space.

In astrometeorology, there could be a potential for cold spells with inundating floods in the northern hemisphere and extreme cold and possibly, blizzard-like conditions, in the southern hemisphere with Mercury (the natural significator of the winds), occidental, combust, in a cold and wet sign, and with an added cold and wetness to it with Mercury separating from Venus, which is a cold and wet planet, in a cold and wet sign, but with an added dryness as it is also occidental and combust. Mercury is also applying to oriental Mars in Taurus, furthering the cold, adding dryness, but also adds moisture to it.

Our attention is now on the Sun. With the Sun in Cancer, it is in the domicile of the Moon and in the exaltation of Jupiter. From that, the attention of the world leaders is on the concerns and sentiments of the public. They are also looking at the status of the economy, the financial activities, and the activities of the banks. Since we have already discussed the implications of the combustion of Venus and Mercury, we will now look at its application to the essentially debilitated Mars in Taurus.

A COMMENTARY IN HINDSIGHT: Aside from the effects of the Sun in Aries ingress, Lunar Eclipse in Libra (where it augurs harm to people in positions of power and eminent figures) and the conjunction of Mars and Uranus in Taurus with the malevolent fixed star Algol, we can attribute the assassination attempt on President Trump to the Sun's application to Mars with a negative reception where Mars hates the Sun because he is in the sign of his fall. It is also noteworthy that Mars' essential debility portended the failed or frustrated attempt; the Sun in the fall of Mars further highlights the assassin's missed aim and tarnished the reputation of those behind it. From that, the Sun's sextile to Mars with negative reception augurs harm to people in positions of power or eminent/prominent figures from violence and assassination attempts; however, given Mars' essential debility and the receptions, these attempts are likely to be unsuccessful. While the Aries ingress chart remains useful for the entire year for the US, the auspices of the Cancer ingress chart may have saved Pres. Trump (if it is not a staged event) or augured mitigation of the effects of the malevolent Mars-Uranus in Algol conjunction, the Aries ingress, and the Lunar Eclipse in Libra; considering the Sun, is the ruler of his Ascendant with Leo Rising.

The General Temperament Of The Ingress

The table below shows the temperament of the Cancer ingress involving the seven classical planets in Astrology. It will give a rough estimate of the collective psyche and a general impression of the climate for the period.

Wetness predominates with relative coldness, suggesting that the people's temperament for the period is phlegmatic. A lack of motivation and the increased susceptibility to communicable illnesses among the people characterize the period.

The general impression of the climate we get for this period is extremely wet and relatively cold. The qualities of cold and wet suggest that the climate for the period brings may bring inundating rains. Mercury, the natural significator of the winds separating from Venus both in watery signs and applying Mars, portends a lot of destructive flood and water-related calamities and/or accidents.

The lunar mansion of the planets determines the level of moisture and its fortunateness. We will see in the following table the Arabic Lunar Mansion containing the planets.

By examining the Arabic Mansions, we can see that the Dry-Unfortunate dominates; while implying a likelihood of the lack of precipitation throughout the entire Cancer ingress, Mercury, the natural significator of the winds, in a cardinal, cold, and wet sign but also in a planetary phase where it brings dryness suggests the possibility of droughts but with intermittent and inundating rainfalls in between. It may also manifest as icy or dry-cold conditions in the southern hemisphere.

The Epicenter Of The Effects Of March 2024 Lunar Eclipse In Libra

The orb of the intensity of the effects of the lunar eclipse in Libra will happen in the middle of the 2024 Cancer Ingress. You can read the full interpretation here along with the effects of the Solar Eclipse in Aries for the Philippines, the USA, and the astrocartography.

Our attention is on the essential dignities of the luminaries and sees the Sun is in the sign of his exaltation in Aries and the Moon having minor essential dignity by decan. Next, we look into the domicile lord of the luminaries. Mars, the ruler of the Sun, is peregrine in Aquarius; it is noteworthy that Mars is also in the sign of the Sun's detriment. Venus, the ruler of the Moon, is in its exaltation in Pisces; the Moon's exaltation ruler, Saturn, is also in Pisces. Venus and Jupiter are in each other's domicile or are in generosity (since Venus has recently separated from Jupiter, there's no mutual reception).

Since the Moon is in the airy and humane (social, vocal, and rational) sign, we may see events involving the populace, birds/the poultry (industry), information sources (mainstream media and social media), and events involving the air-space as part of the effects of the eclipse. The Moon opposing the Sun from the sign of his fall portends harmful events to those in positions of power or to prominent/eminent figures.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the Lunar Eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury in Aries as the planets closest to (or will apply an aspect with) the luminaries or one of them and they are the key planets in this eclipse. The eclipse is another testimony of the demise and/or exposure of scandals involving prominent/eminent figures and of those in positions of power with the Moon translating Pluto's light (from the sign of the Sun's detriment in Aquarius) upon the perfection of eclipse. Alternatively, we may see protests and rallies that may augur their removal from power. There may be events surrounding the cryptocurrencies or digital currencies. With the Moon translating the Sun's light to Mercury by opposition, the period may bring many issues in communication (especially with mainstream/legacy media and social media) and travel; it may also augur technological disruptions and malfunctions. We will probably see a higher global mortality rate with Pluto as the modern significator of death.

Venus, as the eclipse ruler, in its exaltation in the watery, fertile, mute, and double-bodied sign, puts the spotlight on the critical importance in reaching diplomatic resolutions, of the issues about women and children's rights and welfare, gender-related disputes, and that of the declining global birth rate (especially that it has also separated from Saturn). Since it has recently separated from Jupiter with mutual reception, peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions may be beneficial to the economy, financial markets, and the banking system; however, with Venus in a double-bodied sign and translating Jupiter's light to Uranus may still bring volatility and unexpected outcomes (especially that Jupiter is also applying to conjunct it). Perhaps the expectations set for peace, order, diplomatic resolutions, and of the projected performance of banks, financial markets, and the economy for the period may be too good to be true. The eclipse is relatively unfavorable for the beauty, entertainment, and sports industry, where we will still see and hear news of scandals and the demise of prominent figures.

Saturn is the exaltation ruler and almuten of the Moon, so we will also look at it. With Venus as the last planet separating from it, peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions impressed upon its effects on the significations Saturn rules (such as agriculture, the commercial real estate, oil, coal, and precious metals). Mars as the next planet applying to it by conjunction may portend disputes involving the Saturnian significations. The conjunction of Saturn and Mars in this mute and double-bodied sign portends a lot of deceit and treachery in global affairs. In this watery sign, the conjunction augurs covert/passive-aggressive maritime disputes, a higher incidence of road and transportation accidents (especially involving boats, shipping, and fishing vessels), and may also bring a lot of inundating destructive floods and waves. Saturn, as the natural significator of epidemics, and its conjunction with Mars (in a phlegmatic sign), portends a rise in cases and emergence of communicable diseases.

According to timeanddate.com, the entire duration of the eclipse is 4 hours and 39 minutes. We now look at how long the effects of this eclipse last using Guido Bonatti's method. Guido Bonatti states every hour is equivalent to one month, while every two minutes is equal to one day. Here, we get 4 months and 20 days, or 142 calendar days, for the lastingness of this lunar eclipse's effects. Figure 2 shows the schematic diagram estimating the duration of the effects of the eclipse across a timeline.

Now, we will identify the epicenter date where we will feel intensely the effects of the eclipse. Dividing 142 by 2, we get 71 calendar days status post the lunar eclipse. The epicenter date or the eye of the eclipse is on June 4-6, 2024, and when we consider 31 days prior to the midpoint and 30 days after, we get May 4, 2024, to July 5, 2024, as the months to look out for. The effects of this eclipse will probably end by August 14, 2024. However, June 2024 is the month to watch out for.

A Fiery Causeway Over Troubled Seas: The 2024 Libra Ingress

The events of the Cancer ingress could set the precedent for the Libra ingress. We will also look at the eclipses in Pisces and Libra. For the Philippines, there will be another forecast. Figure 3 below shows the Libra Ingress chart. I set the chart in the Philippines' capital, Manila (swipe right), and Washington, DC (swipe left).

The Global Interpretation Of The Ingress

We attribute the condition of the people to the status of the Moon. The Moon is waning in the airy, double-bodied, and humane (vocal, social, and rational) sign of Gemini. Its domicile lord is Mercury. It searches for counsel to Saturn in the daytime as its triplicity ruler and from Mercury as the nighttime triplicity ruler. We will explore the planets she has separated from and the planets she will apply to. From the significations above, we expect the populace to be outspoken but also prone to polarization, treachery, disputes, and unrest; however, with Mercury and Saturn's rulership, people could also display rationality, impartiality, and may yearn for order and diplomacy.

We look back at the planets she has separated from and evaluate the planets she will apply to understand comprehensively the significations she carries and will bring to the fore. The planets the Moon has separated from are the Sun (in Virgo) and the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn retrograde in Pisces, Jupiter in Gemini, Mercury in Virgo, and the retrograde Neptune in Pisces.

Similar to the Aries ingress, we see the Moon has separated from the Sun in a sign before its ingress in Libra. Here, it is a trine with the Sun when it was in Virgo and the Moon when it was in its exaltation in Taurus. With the Sun in Virgo as the last planet the Moon has separated from, the populace is paying attention to its significations. From that, the public's attention is on the decisions and actions of the leaders and the people of eminence or prominence; the Sun in Mercury's domicile and exaltation, and in an earthy and humane sign, suggests that it may pertain to important economic decisions, policies involving trade and commerce, and that concerns diplomatic resolutions. The Moon in Taurus suggests the populace is extremely vigilant of the leader's activities relative to their welfare, especially with concerns about the possible imminent dangers or life-threatening concerns of the period, as it is with the fixed star Alcyone and still in proximity to the malevolent fixed star Algol upon its application to the Sun; perhaps, the public is subject to fanaticism and/or to the blindness of their own prejudices. In Virgo, the Sun is conjunct with the fixed star Markeb. As the fixed star of journeys and knowledge or information dissemination, the public pays attention to important revelations or announcements; with the Sun's involvement, this could pertain to explosive information or critical events involving politics, that of those in positions of power, and/or people of prominence/eminence. Alternatively, we may see crucial events involving the travels and conventions of world leaders and that of their outcomes. We also see the Moon has separated from the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn by aspect and by contra-antiscia when she is now in Gemini. Its last aspect with the Sun in the fixed star of knowledge and journeys, the trine and contra-antiscia with Pluto in Capricorn (the modern planet of death), and the fallen Sun in Libra square the fallen Mars in Cancer portend the demise/departure of people in power and/or revelations of reputation-tarnishing scandals of eminent figures that may cause their removal from power or fall from favor.

It is noteworthy that there is a significant change of essential dignities of the luminaries; with the Moon, it moves from its exaltation to a peregrine state; while that of the Sun, from peregrine to the sign of its fall. With the Sun becoming significant (from the perspective of the populace) as it is the last traditional planet the Moon has separated from, we will look at it when it is now in Libra. With it in the sign of his fall, Venus and Saturn rule the Sun by domicile and exaltation, respectively. Venus and Saturn's rulership suggests the attention of the leaders during the period is on peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions. Along with Libra being a humane (vocal, social, and rational sign) sign portends the leaders crafting policies, regulations, and laws. To further see what issues the leaders will face and the actions they will take, we will look at the condition of Venus and Saturn; like the course of the Moon, we will also explore the path of the Sun in its stay in Libra.

Starting with Venus, we see her in her airy domicile but in the last degree of Libra square the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. The switch in essential dignity is parallel to the significant change of essential dignity of the Sun; with the Sun entering his fall, Venus, its ruler, enters Scorpio, where she is in the sign of her detriment. Venus' "dramatic" change in essential dignity and with the Sun's fallen state square the fallen Mars in Cancer portend the potential errors in peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions. The dignified Venus in this humane sign being in the last degree about to enter its detriment along with the square to the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn portend the failure or futility of negotiations or diplomatic talks and with the populace being at the precipice of an immense conflict or diplomatic escalation, as Mars will rule Venus once it is in Scorpio; the square of Venus and Pluto also suggests the threats of nuclear weaponry arising from the escalations of the diplomatic disputes. Scorpio and Cancer, as watery and mute signs, suggests the covert/passive-aggressive disputes involving or happening in the seas. Alternatively, it may signify the exposure of reputation-tarnishing scandals, the falling out of favor, or portend the demise of eminent people in the sports and entertainment industry. In the fertile signs, problems in the decline of the global birth rate and the issues involving women and children will remain an ominous concern.

Our attention is now on Saturn as the exaltation ruler of the Sun. Saturn is peregrine in the watery, mute, and double-bodied sign of Pisces. Jupiter in Gemini is its domicile ruler and Venus in Libra is its exaltation ruler. Venus and Saturn are in generosity or mutual reception (without the applying aspect) by exaltation. With Jupiter and Venus ruling Saturn (and the Sun in fall separating from Mars in fall and applying to Jupiter in detriment), the attention of the leaders is on peace, order, diplomatic resolutions, the economic conditions, and activities of the banks (but also that of the global financial markets); results of inquests, and court decisions. Those are also the significations that will influence the commodities Saturn rules. Since Venus and Saturn exalt each other, peace, order, government regulations, and diplomatic resolutions will greatly affect the commodities under Saturn's rulership, such as the commercial and residential real estate, the agriculture industry, precious metals, oil, and coal; likewise, the status of the agriculture industry (especially pertaining to the food supply), the state of the mining industry, trade of precious metals, oil, and coal will create the conditions for peace, order, and diplomatic resolutions.

We should also look at the antiscia of the Sun and Neptune, where it portends the exposure of issues involving substance abuse and treachery. The separating square of the Sun in Libra with the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn is another testimony that we may see the demise and/or exposure of scandals of those in power and that of the prominent/eminent figures.

From here, we will look at the planets the Moon will apply to. Our attention is now on the Moon's square with the retrograde Saturn in Pisces. The populace may face pressing concerns and there could be serious disputes over commodities as it relates to agriculture (especially with food supply), real estate, and that of the subterranean resources (i.e., oil, coal, precious metals, and other hard assets); with Saturn in a watery sign, we may see issues in the water supply, events involving the seas and fishing, and deadly water and/or weather-related calamities and accidents. The Moon is in an airy sign and its square with Saturn (along with the combustion of Mercury) still shows deadly road and transportation accidents that may involve aircraft and ships. Saturn (the traditional significator of epidemics and death) and the Moon (the natural significator of the public) in double-bodied signs may portend a rise in cases of communicable diseases and the further ballooning of the global mortality rate.

The next planet the Moon will apply to is Jupiter in the sign of his detriment and Mercury in the sign of his exaltation. Like the Cancer ingress, the Moon and Jupiter in Mercury's airy domicile and in a humane sign suggests the economic conditions, the state of the banks, and performance of the financial markets (including the cryptocurrency markets) for the period will depend on the consumer's or market's confidence or behavior and with that of the strength or level of productivity of the businesses; it will also depend significantly on the state and soundness of the supply chain, transportation and communication systems; and the pronouncements by the media. People are still in tune with the outcomes of national and global inquests, as this period will still give rise to an abundance of legal disputes.

In this ingress, the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter is with a negative reception, where the Moon harms Jupiter or Jupiter hates the Moon because she is in the sign of his detriment. The Moon also translates Saturn's light to Jupiter portending the commodities Saturn rules (i.e., the real estate industry, agricultural sector, and subterranean resources such as oil, coal, and precious metals), through the consumer's or market's behavior, will affect the global economy, the banks, and the financial markets (including the cryptocurrency).

The influence of Saturn and the Moon harming Jupiter suggests the lack of consumer or market confidence along with the shortages or restrictions to the access of the commodities and services Saturn rules will probably harm the economies, the financial markets, and the banks; we could see and hear of news about liquidity and/or insolvency issues, bank-runs, or people/businesses withdrawing from their savings or investment accounts either as a response of mistrust to banks/financial institutions or because of the extreme need to cover the day-to-day or monthly expenses.

The Moon (along with Jupiter in a humane sign) translating peregrine Saturn and the in detriment Jupiter's light by square to the exalted Mercury (also in a humane sign and Jupiter's detriment) in an applying antiscia with the North Node in Aries and the contra-antiscia with the South Node in Libra portends a cut down or disruption on the supply of goods (either from excessively high demand but with the disruption of the supply chain or from that of the exceedingly low consumer demand) and a rise in the costs to run businesses, which will manifest as a further exacerbation of the current (commodities) inflation. With the Moon enclosed by Saturn and the planets signifying the economy (i.e., Jupiter and Mercury), the economic situation and policies during the period will impose its effects on the populace.

In astrometeorology, the Moon's aspect (a cold and wet planet in a hot and wet sign) to Saturn (a cold and dry planet in a cold and wet sign), Jupiter (a hot and wet planet in a hot and wet sign), and Mercury (a cold and dry planet in a cold and dry sign) brings an erratic climate and wild temperature swings; it still brings about forceful and destructive winds with an abundance of precipitation.

It is also important to note that there is an antiscia between Mars and Jupiter. Mars, in the sign of his fall and in the exaltation of Jupiter, suggests that the de-escalation of conflicts may help create a robust economy and stable financial markets. Weather-wise, their hidden conjunction augurs massive storms and destructive water-related calamities in the period covered by the Libra ingress.

Lastly, the square of the Moon in Gemini with the retrograde Neptune in Pisces further exacerbates the polarization of the opinion and unrest of the populace; with the Moon carrying and translating Mercury's light to Neptune, we may see important information coming to light that causes disillusionment and/or unrest.

The General Temperament Of The Ingress

The table below shows the temperament of the Libra ingress involving the seven classical planets in astrology; what's new in this section is an experimentation of the basic planetary declination interpretation using Ptolemy as a reference. It will give a rough estimate of the collective psyche and a general impression of the climate for the period.

Hot and wet predominates, suggesting that the people's temperament for the period is sanguine. This could be a period where the people could be even-tempered but also are very fickle with their preferences.

The general impression of the climate we get for this period is moderately hot and extremely wet. From that, the temperature for the period could be relatively hot, but with an abundance of humidity. Mercury, the natural significator of the winds, oriental, northern, and, in a cold, dry, but also in a wet and stormy sign, portends a lot dryness and but also moisture; there remains the risk of fire and explosions and the extreme dangers from destructive winds and inundating weather.

According to Ptolemy, the Northern-part of Gemini portends a lot of winds and earthquakes. From the chart, we see the Moon and Jupiter in Gemini in the northern declination of the sign. In my previous blog entry, Jupiter is often involved in mega-quakes, and in a sign where it indicates the event when it is northern, poses an extreme risk of such occurrence in the period covered by the Libra ingress; with the Moon, as the significator of the populace in a humane sign, out of bounds, and will conjunct with the essentially debilitated Jupiter also in a humane sign, portend an extremely dangerous period. It is also noteworthy that Mars and Jupiter are not only in antiscia but also parallel in terms of the declination; from that, we have another testimony for a potential massive or frequent tectonic shake-ups and extreme weather events. Since Jupiter also rules the global economy, the financial markets (including cryptocurrency with it in an airy sign) and the banking system, its northern position, its antiscia, and being in parallel to Mars portends the possibility of extreme turmoil and that of a crash.

The lunar mansion of the planets determines the level of moisture and its fortunateness. We will see in the following table the Arabic Lunar Mansion containing the planets.

By examining the Arabic Mansions, we can see that the Temperate and Moist dominates, and this is parallel with the sanguine temperament of the Libra ingress with indications of heavy precipitation implying a relatively pleasant weather but comes with it the potential for inundating rainfall. The period is also of mixed fortunes, but paying attention to Mercury as the natural significator of the winds; we see it in a very moist and unlucky lunar mansion along with it in Virgo, a moist/rainy and windy sign. The position of Mercury suggests the period will probably bring destructive weather and inundating floods.

A Crossroad Dilemma: The September 2024 Lunar Eclipse In Pisces & The October 2024 Solar Eclipse in Libra

Like the March-April 2024 Libra-Aries Eclipses, the September-October 2024 Pisces-Libra Eclipses are potent and their effects quickly manifest, as they are equinoctial with them preceding and following immediately the 2024 Libra Ingress. With the shift in the signs of the eclipse, we will see more of the Jupiterian, Venusian, and Mercurial significations coming to light along with Saturnian themes still at the fore. Figure 4 shows the chart of the Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Pisces set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

Our attention is on the essential dignities of the luminaries and sees the Sun peregrine in Virgo and the Moon also peregrine in Pisces. Next, we look into the domicile lord of the luminaries. Mercury, the ruler of the Sun, is exalted in Virgo but retrograde. With the Moon, Jupiter and Venus are its rulers. Looking at Jupiter, we see him in the sign of his detriment in Gemini while Venus is in her airy domicile in Libra.

Since the Moon is in the watery, mute, fertile, and double-bodied sign, we may see concerns involving the water supply, on liquid products, about water-related events, maritime-related disputes or events involving the seas, issues concerning fishes/the fishing industry/aquaculture, and challenges pertaining to the global birth/fertility rate as part of the effects of the eclipse. The Moon opposing the Sun in a humane sign suggests the direct impact of the aforementioned significations to the populace.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the Lunar Eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see Jupiter in Gemini, the retrograde Uranus in Taurus, the retrograde Neptune in Pisces, and the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn; and they are the key planets in this eclipse. With Jupiter in the sign of his detriment in Gemini as one planet closest, the eclipse will not only highlight the significations Jupiter rules but also that of Mercury's (especially that it is the Sun's ruler and Jupiter's final dispositor). From that, the lunar eclipse portends extreme and challenging events involving the global economy, the banking system, and the financial markets (including cryptocurrencies - especially that the eclipsed Moon will translate Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune's light to Pluto); and its profound impact on the supply chain, in trade, and in commerce; it also augurs issues in transportation and communication, where we could see severe travel disruptions, accidents, delays, lockdowns, and technological malfunctions with the exalted Mercury oppose the retrograde Saturn in Pisces with a negative reception. The Mercury-Saturn opposition with negative reception also shows trade route disputes and restrictions to access (where we could see further embargoes). Tech companies, the mainstream media, and social media continue to be in deep trouble along with the cybersecurity concerns; the application of the luminaries to the outer planets in late degrees suggests that the events augured by the eclipse will put an end to the well-established narratives. Perhaps it may also augur the rise in the cases or prevalence of communicable diseases with the lunar eclipse in a phlegmatic sign, Mercury being the natural significator of transmission, and Saturn as the natural significator of the epidemics.

The Moon and the Sun will apply to the retrograde outer planets carrying with them Jupiter's light. With the Moon translating the light of Jupiter to Uranus in Taurus, the eclipse portends extreme volatility in the financial markets; the extreme risk of destructive weather, mega-quakes, and massive explosions/eruptions; it also suggests the possibility of deflation and/or the possibility of a crash. With the Moon enclosed by the retrograde Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn and those planets receiving Jupiter and retrograde Uranus' light by translation, we could see the populace being in a state of shock, hysteria, and disillusionment because of critical and surprising exposés. Perhaps we can see immense disputes and social unrest because of the polarizing views of the populace because of these revelations and events. On a positive note, the events that this eclipse will seed or bring becomes the catalyst into multipolarity (because of the predominance of planets in double-bodied signs).

Venus co-rules and is the almuten of the eclipse. She is in her airy domicile in Libra with the fortunate fixed stars Spica and Arcturus. While the eclipses may bring tumultuous challenges, Venus' conditions and rulership over the eclipse is a safe harbor, bringing in significant milestones and progress in human rights and international relations that will benefit the populace in the long-run; in relation to the current events, the eclipse may help accelerate the transition to a fairer and multipolar world.

According to timeanddate.com, the entire duration of the eclipse is 4 hours and 6 minutes. We now look at how long the effects of this eclipse last using Guido Bonatti's method. Guido Bonatti states every hour is equivalent to one month, while every two minutes is equal to one day. Here, we get 4 months and 3 days, or 126 calendar days, for the lastingness of this lunar eclipse's effects. Now, we will identify the epicenter date where we will feel intensely the effects of the eclipse. Dividing 126 by 2, we get 63 calendar days status post the lunar eclipse. The epicenter date or the eye of the eclipse is on November 19-21, 2024, and when we consider 31 days prior to the midpoint and 30 days after, we get October 18, 2024, to December 20, 2024, as the months to look out for. The effects of this eclipse will probably end by January 22, 2025. However, November 2024 is the month to watch out for. Below is the astrocartograhphy of the planetary lines of the eclipse chart, which shows the places all over the world at high risk for earthquakes or perhaps natural disasters.

Here, we will look into the eclipse lines, the lines of Saturn as the traditional greater malefic, Mars as the traditional ruler of quakes, Uranus as the quake's modern significator, and Jupiter as the indicator of powerful earthquakes. The points of intersection show an extreme risk of these events.

An Annular Solar Eclipse in Libra occurs on October 2/3, 2024. Figure 7 shows the Solar Eclipse in the sign of Libra chart set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

We will look at the luminaries and see that Venus in Scorpio rules the Sun and the Moon. It is noteworthy that Saturn also has rulership over the eclipse because it is Libra's exaltation ruler and the sign's almuten. Venus, the domicile ruler, is applying a trine with the retrograde Saturn, the sign's exaltation lord.

With the Sun and the Moon in the cardinal, airy, and humane (vocal, social, and rational) sign, the effects of the eclipse are on the populace, on the birds/the poultry (industry), on the information sources (mainstream media and social media), and with events involving the airspace. Since the Moon eclipsing the fallen Sun further harms it, the Sun very close to the South Node and with it also squaring with the fallen Mars in Cancer, the eclipse portends life-threatening and/or reputation-tarnishing situations to those in positions of power and people of eminence or prominence, where we may see their demise and/or the exposure of scandals that may augur their removal from power or fall out of the public's favor. Alternatively, with the Sun hating the Moon, we could see policies that are unfavorable or harmful for the populace. Similar to the April 2023 Solar Eclipse in Aries, October 2023 Solar Eclipse in Libra, and April 2024 Solar Eclipse in Aries, this eclipse will continue to bring regime changes in many nations.

Venus in the sign of her detriment in the watery, mute, and fixed sign of Scorpio is trine with the retrograde Saturn in Pisces (also in a watery, mute, fertile, and double-bodied sign). Here, the in detriment Venus in Scorpio pushing her significations to Saturn and the fallen Mars (in the cardinal, watery, and mute sign of Cancer) separating from Saturn, augur escalating diplomatic disputes involving the seas (that could involve the military and the use projectile weaponry) and accidents involving ships; those things will probably cause serious disruptions affecting the commodities Saturn rules (such as the food supply through the agriculture industry, the trade of precious metals, and the supply of oil and coal). Furthermore, we could see concerns involving the water supply, that involves fishing or aquaculture, the extremes in weather, and other water-related calamities.

Our attention will now be on the closest planets to the solar eclipse to judge which planet holds the key. In the chart, we see Mercury as the closest planet, where we may see the effects of the eclipse on the significations it naturally rules, such as trade, commerce, transportation, media, and other information sources. We may see and hear of important revelations and events involving the airspace. With it combust and square the fallen Mars in Cancer, there is a higher incidence of deadly road and transportation accidents, especially involving aircraft and shipping vessels. Perhaps this is another testimony for escalating maritime disputes. The mainstream media and social media continue to be in deep trouble and may undergo significant changes. It may also augur extreme weather related and man-made calamities.

Please know that the entire duration of the eclipse is 6 hours and 4 minutes, so we will feel the effects of this eclipse in 6 years and 1 month. Figure 8 shows the schematic diagram estimating the duration of the effects of the eclipse across a timeline.

We will probably feel the effects intensely from November 2026 to November 2028, with special attention to November 2027. It will probably end on June 8, 2029. The 2024 Libra Ingress For The Philippines

The Aries ingress chart for the Philippines remains useful for only six months because of a double-bodied sign rising; hence, there is a need to cast another chart for this Libra ingress. For the USA, the Aries ingress chart remains useful and there is no urgency to cast the chart for this Libra ingress because of the fixed sign rising; however, I suggest reading the global interpretation of the Libra ingress as it may cover predictions that may not be in the Aries ingress. Later on, we will explore the implications of the eclipse on both the Aries and Libra ingress of the USA. For quick reference, here is the Libra ingress chart of the Philippines.

The Concerns & The Well-being Of The Populace

In interpreting the ingress chart, we begin by checking on the status of the populace. To see how the citizens of the country will do, we will look at three testimonies. The first testimony will be from the condition of the Moon and its Lord as the natural significators, the Ascendant and its Lord as the accidental significators, and if applicable, the planets in the Ascendant or aspecting the Ascendant as co-significators.

Taurus is rising, and its rulers are Venus and the Moon. Since this is a nocturnal chart, the Moon becomes the primary significator of the populace, with it as the almuten of the Ascendant and with it in the angular Ascendant. From that, the people's attention and worries are on their health and well-being; this is further supported by Venus, the Ascendant's domicile ruler, in the last degree of the sign in the sixth house and about to enter her sign of detriment, where it shows the public's anxieties to the events happening and their vulnerability to diseases or shows the suffering from the illnesses they are experiencing. The square of Venus to the retrograde Pluto in Capricorn and the Moon's square with the retrograde Saturn in Pisces portends of the nation's accelerating mortality rate and the dropping birth or fertility rate.

With the Moon in the domicile of Mercury (which rules the second house and the fifth house), Mercury exalted in Virgo in the fifth house, and the Ascendant cusp applying a trine with Mercury, their attention is on financial matters relative their well-being along with the state and direction of the country's economy; they are also focused on the alarming issues involving children, the financial markets, and the gambling/speculations industry. The Moon, as the ruler of the third house, suggests the worries about the nation's relationship with its neighboring countries and the government's actions in addressing the issues; we could also see issues involving the nation's transportation and communication systems. Aside from the health concerns, Venus' placement in the sixth house portends the worries about the lack of employment opportunities and the threats of job loss or unemployment (because of the switch of Venus' essential dignity from being in the sign of its domicile to its detriment); they are also in tune with and are particular about the pronouncements, activities, and performance of the military and the law enforcement.

Since Saturn co-rules Venus, we will look at it. Here, Saturn rules the ninth house, the tenth house, and co-rules the sixth house; he is in the eleventh house. With Venus exalting Saturn, their attention is on the activities of the nation's leaders or events surrounding prominent/eminent figures, and the outcomes of national inquests and court decisions; with the events happening overseas and the activities/influence of foreign nations/entities on the national affairs. Regrading Saturn retrograde in the eleventh house, the public is watching closely the activities or hearings of the legislation and their resolutions concerning the national budget, the state of the nation's healthcare, and with the above-listed significations of the ninth house and the tenth house.

We also see the retrograde Uranus in Taurus is rising. The Ascendant of the Libra ingress and the retrogradation of Uranus may re-activate the effects of the recent Mars-Uranus in Taurus conjunction with Algol. It is also noteworthy that the Moon, the now primary significator of the populace, is in the northern-part of Gemini portending destructive winds and earthquakes. From all of those, the populace is highly predisposed to unrest, unpredictable or shocking events; also, to the extreme risk of destructive earthquakes, eruptions/explosions, and severe weather conditions.

The Economy

Our focus will now shift to the economy and we judge it by looking at the ingress chart's second house and its lord, Jupiter's placement and its lord; planets in the second house as co-significators.

We see Gemini on the second house cusp. Mercury rules the house; he is in the sign of his domicile and exaltation, combust, and is in antiscia with the North Node in Aries/contra-antiscia with the South Node in Libra. It is also applying to the retrograde outer planets.

In this earthy, humane (vocal, social, and rational), and double-bodied sign, the perception and/or behavior of the local and foreign consumers and investors, the decisions of the nation's economic managers, and the conditions set for the trade partnerships with other nations will shape the country's economic outlook for the period. It depends as well on the level of business activity or productivity and the conditions of the labor markets. The nation's transportation and communications system will play a critical role in the strength or weakness of the economy. It also highlights the importance of the agriculture industry, the real estate industry, and that of the subterranean commodities industries (i.e., the trade of oil and coal, and precious metals) in maintaining economic stability.

Mercury, in the sign of his domicile and exaltation and with the Ascendant aspecting it by an applying trine, suggests the populace, the banks, and the nation's economic managers are conservative or are realistic in their financial decisions; the essential and accidental conditions of Mercury also points to the exacerbation and/or persistence of inflation. With Mercury separating from Jupiter and being in the fifth house, the nation's economy and banking system are subject to the influence of the local and global financial markets; since Mercury is combust, in an antiscia with the North Node and contra-antiscia with the South Node, and is applying to the retrograde outer planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, there is an exposure to immense volatility and uncertainty.

Our attention now is on Jupiter and he rules the eighth house and the eleventh house; Mars is also on the second house but is still conjunct with the third house cusp. Jupiter is in the sign of his detriment and Mars in the sign of his fall in the second house. The presence of the essentially debilitated Jupiter and in antiscia and being in parallel with the fallen Mars in Cancer in the second house portend the potential weakness and fragility of banks; it also augurs the extreme volatility of the financial markets and the risk of a crash or extreme market corrections. It is another testimony of the nation experiencing persistent and/or worsening inflation. Jupiter ruling the eighth house and the eleventh house, along with Mars, as the ruler of the seventh house and the twelfth house, suggests we could see concerns with the further ballooning of the nation's debt and expenditures; errors in fiscal policies are likely. The legislative fiscal and global monetary policies, as well as the extreme events in the financial markets, will greatly affect and dictate the economic direction of the country. We may also see issues with the national budget.

The Government

The tenth and eleventh house are the houses to assess should we like to know how our leaders do. For heads of the state, we also check into the condition of the Sun as the natural significator. Planets in the tenth house and the eleventh house are the co-significators.

Saturn rules the ninth house, the tenth house, and he is co-ruler of the sixth house; while Jupiter is the lord of the eighth house and eleventh house and is also the co-ruler of the third house. Saturn in the eleventh house may mean the attention of the nation's leaders is on the concerns/activities of the legislation and that concerns the national budget; the Moon applying to it portends their concerns on the nation's relationship with neighboring countries and problems in the nation's transportation and communications system. Perhaps the members of the legislation and the cabinet may experience tremendous pressure from high-ranking personnel from the executive and judiciary departments in pursuit of an agenda; likewise, there could be immense pressure or obstructions in pursuit of an agenda coming from foreign entities or from outside of the country. With Saturn in a double-bodied sign, we can see or hear of news or rumors of treachery and disputes between the head of the state and among the members of the legislation and/or the cabinet.

Since Saturn is in the domicile of Jupiter and exaltation of Venus, the government's attention is on their significations. Jupiter in the second house, as the ruler of the eighth house and the eleventh house, and as the co-ruler of the third house, suggests the government's concerns on the nation's economy, debts, and financial relationship with other nations (especially pertaining to our neighboring countries). Saturn exalting Venus suggests their attention is on the concerns of the populace, the availability of employment opportunities or the condition of the labor market, and the state of the country's health care system; the activities of the military and law enforcement, and the diseases plaguing the nation. Perhaps it also augurs the government's grave concerns about how the public perceives them.

The attention of the legislation and members of the cabinet is also on the nation's economy, the national budget, and that involves the country's debts and/or investments/money from foreign nations, with Jupiter also ruling the eighth house; the antiscia of Mars and with it being parallel with Jupiter suggest there could be secret agreements or negotiations as it pertains to economic partnerships, diplomatic resolutions, and that involves the enemies of the state. With the Sun, as the natural significator of the leaders, fallen in the fifth house, portends the challenges the government faces concerning the issues involving children, the declining national birth rate, the volatility of the financial markets, and that involves the gambling/speculative industries. As the ruler of the fourth house in the fifth house, the impact of diplomatic resolutions will directly affect the country's homeland security and economic stability (with Mercury applying to conjunct the Sun).

If we consider the outer planets, we see the Sun's antiscia with Neptune in Pisces, where the antiscia between the Sun and Neptune portends the exposure of issues involving substance abuse and treachery.

The Effects of the September & October 2024 Eclipses

In this section, we will see the effects of the eclipses for each country and for us to get a better picture, we will cast a Bi-wheel chart of the eclipses superimposed on the Libra ingress charts; for the USA, there will also be a Bi-wheel using the Aries ingress chart. Figure 9 shows the Bi-wheel chart where the Inner Chart is the Libra ingress and the Outer Chart is Lunar Eclipse in Libra chart set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

We begin with the Philippines, and Sagittarius is rising upon the perfection of the eclipse. It is a fiery, partly humane (social, vocal, and rational), and a double-bodied sign; however, it is also a sign that's bestial or quadrupedal. Its domicile ruler is Jupiter. In the period covered by the eclipse, the effects will be on the populace and that involves the cattle or livestock. In this fiery and double-bodied sign, it augurs the predisposition and exposure of the populace to violence or disputes, to fire-related incidents/accidents, and the higher risk or frequency of eruptions/explosions. Since Jupiter rules the sign, with it in detriment, and as the closest planet to the eclipse, the spotlight is on the challenging circumstances involving the economy, the banks, and the financial markets; it also highlights controversial national inquests, outcomes of court decisions, religious/church activities, and issues surrounding universities/colleges and research facilities. With the Ascendant of the eclipse in the seventh house in the Libra ingress chart, and its ruler, Jupiter of the eclipse chart, is also on the second house of the Libra ingress chart, we may see challenges in reaching diplomatic resolutions and its implications on the economy, the banks, and the financial markets.

The eclipse is in the eleventh house of the Libra ingress chart. From that, its effects could hit the nation's legislation and the cabinet, where we could see disputes and exposés as a result of that (with the eclipse also close to the outer planets); its effects will extend to the concerns about the national budget, issues on the country's debts, the weakness of the economy, the fragility of the banks, and the volatility of the financial markets since Jupiter rules the eclipse. We could also see controversial resolutions or declarations or pronouncements by the legislation and/or members of the cabinet pertaining to fishing, in relation to the current maritime disputes with neighboring countries, the diplomatic relations, and the homeland security with the eclipse taking place in the fourth house of the eclipse chart and with it separating from the essentially debilitated Jupiter in a humane (vocal, social, and rational) sign.

It is also worth looking at Venus with it as the eclipse's exaltation ruler, and we see her in her airy domicile in Libra conjunct with the fixed stars Spica and Arcturus. Venus' placement in a humane sign and in the sixth house suggests its effects may manifest as issues in reaching diplomatic resolutions, concerns about human/sex-trafficking, news about highly contagious and could be hard to treat (sexually transmitted) illnesses and the unusual spike of possibly rare diseases; the exposure of issues in the healthcare system, the problems in peace and order because of issues in the law enforcement and the military, and possibly, on sex/gender-related disputes. Her essential dignity portends possible protest or pronouncements coming from members of the military and law enforcement concerning calls for diplomacy, peace, and order. Alternatively, we could see prominent/eminent entertainment or sports figures getting sick, into accidents, and we may also see their demise.

Looking into the USA's eclipse chart, we see Gemini Rising with the fixed star Aldebaran and its ruler is Mercury in the sign of his domicile and exaltation in Virgo. With Gemini as an airy, double-bodied, and humane (vocal, social, and rational) sign, the effects of the eclipse may manifest on the populace, on the birds/the poultry (industry), on the information sources (mainstream media and social media), and with events involving the airspace. Its ruler, Mercury, in the earthy, humane, and double-bodied sign suggests its effects are on agriculture (especially on food products - the harvest of crops, poultry, and livestock), on the labor markets, on the supply chain, on communication devices, and may manifests as events involving the road and transportation; precious metals, oil, coal, and other subterranean resources.

The Ascendant of the eclipse in the eighth house on both the Aries and Libra ingress charts unanimously augurs issues or concerns about the exploding national debt (in the Aries ingress chart it is conjunct with the Jupiter in the sign of his detriment in the eighth house), the unreasonable taxation policies, and the volatile financial relationship with other nations (with the Ascendant on the eighth house applying to conjunct with Jupiter in the ninth house in the Libra ingress chart; in the Libra ingress chart, we see the fallen Mars in the ninth house, as the ruler of the second house and the seventh house; Mars is also in the second house in the US Lunar Eclipse chart); it also puts the spotlight on the nation's excessive mortality and the life-threatening dangers coming from natural and man-made calamities.

Our focus now is on Jupiter (as it is the domicile ruler and the closest traditional planet to the eclipse) and Mercury as the eclipse Ascendant lord. If we look into the bi-wheels, Mercury of the eclipse chart hurls its harmful rays (i.e., Mercury is in the sign of Jupiter detriment in Virgo) to Jupiter in Taurus of the Aries ingress chart and Jupiter in Gemini of the Libra ingress chart (where it will also translates Saturn's light). In relation to the current events, the eclipse Mercury's aspect to Jupiter (on both the ingress charts, as the natural & accidental significator of the economy in the Aries ingress chart, and as the natural significator of the economy in the ninth house of the Libra ingress chart) with negative receptions shows many nations de-dollarizing by selling the US Treasury Bonds and the embargoes they will impose portend perils in the nation's economy, banks, and financial markets. With Saturn in the sign of Mercury's fall and detriment, we could see serious supply chain issues that could bring shortages/outages to certain essential commodities imported from overseas. Perhaps deficits in all metrics could be alarming for the period. On a side note, with the fixed star Aldebaran rising and Mars in the second house of the eclipse chart (as the ruler of the Ascendant, the sixth house, and co-ruler of the third house of the Aries ingress chart and as the ruler of the second house, the seventh house, and co-ruler of the fourth house of the Libra ingress chart), the USA could be in for a warlike economy or may it augur the nation's path towards immense disputes; or perhaps, it sounds the war drums, in the period covered by effects of the eclipse and/or that of the 2024 Aries ingress.

Since Venus is the exaltation ruler and almuten of the eclipse, we will also look at it. In the Aries ingress chart, we see it in the twelfth house and in the Ascendant of the Libra ingress chart. For its effects, regarding the Aries ingress chart, we see Venus in Libra of the eclipse chart in the twelfth house of the Aries ingress chart applying a trine to Mars in the fourth house, the ruler of the ingress Ascendant. It is noteworthy that Venus rules the seventh house, the twelfth house, and is the co-ruler of the fifth house of the Aries ingress chart and is also the ruler of the fifth house, the twelfth house, and the co-ruler of the tenth house of the eclipse chart. From those, we can see the eclipse bringing harm, difficulties, restrictions, and losses to the populace coming from the enemies of the state (this may manifest as the increase in crime, from terrorist attacks, and other man-made disasters), from the government's errors in diplomatic resolutions and fiscal policies, and from extreme weather conditions and natural calamities.

Regarding the Libra ingress chart, we see Venus in Libra of the eclipse chart in the Ascendant. With it in the Ascendant, the effects will manifest in the populace's health and well-being. Since Venus co-rules the sixth house, we could see many people getting sick; however, Venus' essential dignity can manifest as either the robustness of the public's health or it may show them as suffering from hard to treat diseases. As the eighth house ruler, the spotlight is on the nation's debts and financial relationship with other nations; it may also show the excessiveness of the nation's mortality; along with it as the ruler of the sixth house in an economic context, there are immense concerns regarding the availability of employment opportunities.

Figure 12 shows the Bi-wheel chart where the Inner Chart is the Libra Ingress and Outer Chart is the Solar Eclipse in Libra set in Manila, Philippines (swipe right) and Washington, D.C., USA (swipe left).

The Philippines: Leo is the Ascendant of the eclipse. Leo is a bestial, barren, fiery, and fixed sign. Its ruler, the Sun, is the natural significator of kings, rulers, and the eminent. In the period covered by the effects of the eclipse, the Philippines may encounter challenges related to violence, extreme weather, fire-related incidents, and explosions/eruptions. It also puts the spotlight on the leaders, where the Moon conjuncts the Sun in his fall. We see the Moon (ruler of the twelfth house of the eclipse chart) translating the Sun's light to Mercury (ruler of the second house and eleventh house of the eclipse chart; also, the ruler of the second house and the fifth house of the Libra ingress chart), portends errors in fiscal and diplomatic resolutions may negatively affect the nation's economy, the financial markets, and the speculations/gambling industry. It also augurs serious issues involving the children and the national birth rate. Mercury, as the closest planet to the eclipse, its combustion by the fallen luminary, and its application to the fallen Mars may portend maritime disputes and a lot of road and transportation accidents (involving boats, shipping vessels, and aircraft); issues and disruptions on travels, communication, and technological malfunctions. Perhaps we may see the mainstream media and social media in deep trouble. Alternatively, we could see and hear news of the demise and/or scandals of high-profile individuals.

Venus and Saturn is the ruler of the eclipse. With Venus, she is in the sixth house; the eclipse's exaltation ruler and almuten, Saturn, is in the eleventh house of the Libra ingress chart. What those suggest is that the eclipse may portend events surrounding the populace, the diseases plaguing the nation, and the labor markets, especially with issues in the availability of work opportunities and wages. It also suggests concerns involving the law enforcement and military in connection to peace and order; Venus in the sign of her detriment in a watery sign could mean maritime disputes involving the military. Since the Moon rules the third house, the Sun rules the fourth house of the Aries ingress chart, and the eclipse happening in the fifth house, this maritime disputes involving our neighboring countries (i.e., that may involve projectile weaponry).

The USA: We see Capricorn Rising and its rulers are Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer. With Capricorn as an earthy, domesticated, and quadrupedal sign, the effects of the eclipse revolves around agriculture (especially that involves cattle), precious metals, oil, coal, and other subterranean resources. The Ascendant of the eclipse is on the third house of both the Aries and Libra ingress charts, where it augurs issues or concerns about the neighboring countries, the transportation system, and the communications system; where we may continue to see a higher incidence of road and transportation accidents and technological malfunctions (with Mars aspected by trine the retrograde Saturn with negative reception; Saturn here as the domicile ruler of the eclipse Ascendant, the third house domicile ruler of the Aries ingress chart, and exaltation ruler of the Libra ingress Ascendant and the solar eclipse; Mars is the exaltation ruler of the eclipse Ascendant in the third of the Libra ingress and the exaltation ruler of the third house of the Aries ingress chart).

The solar eclipse is in the twelfth house of the eclipse chart and Venus, the ruler of this eclipse but also the ruler of the Ascendant, the eighth house, and co-ruler of the sixth house of the Libra ingress chart, is in the sign of his detriment in Scorpio in the Ascendant of the Libra ingress chart. What those mean is that the effects is on the populace where there could be a looming health crisis; we could see lockdowns and restrictions. Alternatively, we could see issues regarding order and security as the period portend a lot of bickering that could escalate to riots with Venus in Mars' domicile, with the solar eclipse and Mercury square the fallen Mars with negative reception; this could portend harm to the public from the hidden enemies (such as terrorist attacks and other man-made calamities), from airspace events/fatal aircraft accidents, and from extreme weather events. The angularity of Venus in the Ascendant in the Libra ingress chart and as the house's co-ruler of the sixth house along with the application of the eclipse to the fallen Mars in Cancer, as the ruler of the Ascendant and the sixth house of the Aries ingress chart also augurs issues or concerns involving the military, law enforcement, and the nation's employment and conditions of the labor markets; it also reinforces the serious health concerns if we look at the eclipse along with the Aries ingress chart.

With the eclipse in the eleventh house of the Aries ingress chart, its effects could hit the nation's legislation and the cabinet, where we could see disputes and exposés because of that; its effects will extend to the concerns about the national budget, issues on the country's debts, its financial relations with other nations since Mercury is the closest planet to the eclipse. We could also see controversial fiscal and foreign/diplomatic policies by the legislation and/or members of the cabinet; perhaps we could see disagreements between and among the members of the legislation and the cabinet involving the funding of war or with the resolutions of disputes overseas with the solar eclipse and Mercury square the eclipse Mars in the ninth house of the Aries ingress chart. Alternatively, we could see serious disputes or controversial issues involving the courts or explosive national inquests.

Saturn, as the exaltation ruler of the eclipse, is in the fourth house of the Aries ingress chart and in the fifth house of the Libra ingress chart. With the Libra ingress chart, the effects of the eclipse through Saturn, suggests we could see serious concerns in the financial markets, the speculations/gambling industries, and that involves diplomatic issues through its ambassadors; issues involving children, the entertainment and/or sports industry, related to sex, and that of gender-related disputes (especially with the eclipse Midheaven conjunct with the eclipse Venus in the eclipse Ascendant). In the fourth house of the Aries ingress chart, concerns about homeland security (especially involving the nation's borders), the real estate, agriculture (likely on the food supply), precious metals, oil, coal, and other subterranean resources; Saturn, as a malefic, portends deadly natural disasters (especially that it also rules the fourth house of the Aries and Libra ingress chart). The combined interpretation from both ingresses suggests from both ingresses shows homeland security concerns arising from diplomatic resolutions.
