The fire reached the second alarm and was extinguished by 6:18 p.m., with authorities estimating that at least 13 houses were destroyed. Additional Fire Incidents - Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City:
- Another fire occurred where residents rescued a 65-year-old man trapped in his burning house. He sustained burns and reported that he saw the fire upon waking on his sofa and was unable to open the gate to escape. Residents Jhan Jhan Macabenta and James Recaña forcibly opened the gate to rescue him.
- Bacoor, Cavite:
- A fire broke out early Wednesday, reaching the second alarm and taking three hours to extinguish. A senior citizen died due to smoke inhalation.
- Tagudin, Ilocos Sur:
