Now officially part of the Kapuso network, South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo has shared his interest in working with a specific leading lady—Barbie Forteza.
During his press conference following his contract signing with Sparkle on Wednesday, Kim Ji Soo expressed his admiration for Barbie Forteza's acting skills. "I want to work with her because she is a good actress. I've watched a few of her acting scenes, and she's a really good actress," he said.
Barbie Forteza currently stars in the GMA Prime series Pulang Araw as Adelina Dela Cruz, a character aspiring to become a popular bodabil actress.
In addition to Barbie, Kim Ji Soo mentioned he would like to collaborate with Ruru Madrid, noting that they did not have a chance to share a scene together in Black Rider. In that series, Kim Ji Soo portrayed Adrian Park, a half-Korean, half-Filipino assassin who engages in action-packed scenes, speaks Tagalog and English, and shares several interactions with Yassi Pressman's character, Vanessa.
Kim Ji Soo praised Ruru Madrid in a previous interview with "24 Oras," calling him "cool" and expressing his hope to meet him soon.
Currently, Kim Ji Soo stars in the top-rated GMA Afternoon Prime series Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap, alongside Jillian Ward. He plays the role of Dr. Kim Young, adding another dynamic character to his growing list of roles in Philippine television
