Sandro Muhlach has formally lodged a complaint against two individuals at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The Sparkle artist was accompanied by his father, Niño Muhlach, during the filing of the complaint, according to "24 Oras" on Friday.
While the identities of the subjects of the complaint are yet to be confirmed by GMA Integrated News, Sandro Muhlach shared his current state in a text message, saying, "Hindi po ako OK pero kakayanin ko po."
In a statement issued on Thursday, GMA Network acknowledged receiving a formal complaint from Sandro against two of its independent contractors, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, GMA Network had already begun its own investigation prior to receiving the formal complaint.
As of now, GMA Network has not disclosed additional details regarding the investigation. Niño Muhlach mentioned in a text to GMA Integrated News that he would address the issue further once the criminal case filing is complete.
In response, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the legal counsel for Nones and Cruz, stated that the allegations do not reflect the true events and that they reserve the right to respond appropriately upon receiving the formal complaint.
The controversy began earlier this week when posts circulated online about the son of an actor allegedly being violated by two men. GMA Network promptly released a statement addressing the situation.
