Batangas province has long been famous for its kapeng barako (liberica coffee), Taal Volcano, the balisong or fan knife, lomi (a noodle dish with a starchy broth) and the distinct "punto" or accent that Batangueños speak. Somehow lost in this list is the province's beaches and coves that we have managed to visit only in recent years.
