The Embassy noted that some agencies and individuals have been offering to assist nurses in traveling to New Zealand on Visitor Visas to take assessments such as the Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP) or the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). However, many of these internationally qualified nurses (IQNs) have struggled to find jobs after completing their assessments, leading them to leave the country when their Visitor Visas expire. Filipino nurses are advised to secure a legitimate job offer, a verified contract, and a proper working visa before moving to New Zealand to avoid complications. For further assistance, the Philippine Embassy in Wellington and the Philippine Migrant Workers Office can be contacted for guidance. | | | |
