The Japanese dub trailer for Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience has been officially released, sparking excitement among fans. On Friday, the Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account for the Voltes V: Legacy project unveiled the trailer for the film's Japanese dub, titled "Super Electromagnetic Edition."
The trailer features a glimpse of Prince Zardoz, portrayed by Martin del Rosario, followed by the iconic "volting in" sequence of the five pilots, set to the theme song performed by Julie Anne San Jose.
The Japanese voice cast for nine main characters was also announced:
- Steve Armstrong – Chiaki Kobayashi
- Big Bert Armstrong – Kido Hanakura
- Little Jon Armstrong – Makoto Koichi
- Mark Gordon – Yamato Kinjo
- Jamie Robinson – Megumi Nakajima
- Prince Zardoz – Junichi Suwabe

The Super Electromagnetic Edition will hit Japanese cinemas on October 18. This version has been re-edited and includes additional scenes that were not featured in the Philippine release. Moreover, the Japanese edition underwent a "full-length remastering process" to enhance its CG scenes.
Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience premiered in Philippine cinemas in April 2023, featuring the first three weeks of the live-action series. Produced by GMA Network in collaboration with Toei Company, Ltd., and Telesuccess Productions Inc., the series first aired on GMA Afternoon Prime in May 2023, concluding in September. A rerun followed in May 2024, ending this month.
The groundbreaking series was headlined by Miguel Tanfelix (Steve Armstrong), Ysabel Ortega (Jamie Robinson), Radson Flores (Mark Gordon), Raphael Landicho (Little Jon Armstrong), and Matt Lozano (Big Bert Armstrong), with Martin del Rosario (Prince Zardoz) among the key stars.
