The Meeting in Naga
Former VP Leni Robredo and current VP Duterte met in Naga a few days ago. Their meeting is a sign of mutual respect. Not desperation , not gullibility. Sonny Trillanes is wrong. He's trying to gatekeep. He'll not win the presidency in 2028. But there's a good chance Senator Tulfo will. So Trillanes' gatekeeping only serves himself and inadvertently other guys equally as hungry for power as he is. Enough is enough. Filipino males are mediocre. We need Filipina women to take their rightful place. They are meeting because they see danger ahead for 2028. VP Sara is not as popular as she started. She should've heeded my warnings and read my article warning of PBBM ("Sara all, how BBM will fail 2022") . But I'm mostly in love with Inday Sara because of this incident ("Viewpoints: Inday Sarafor President" ). I don't know why she decided to run with PBBM. But I know why she'll run with VP Leni in 2028. They are perfect together. Like Yin and Yang. Dark and Light. The two compliment each other. And they both will transform the Philippines to a global leader.
VP Leni is Generation X
She came of age after Martial Law. VP Leni knew the heavy handedness of gov't and the chaos that ensued after. She's too good for the Philippines. The Philippines doesn't deserve her. But the new generation of Filipinos do. Not Trillanes. Not Tulfo. These guys represent the old guards. The Philippines can afford to not have them around. They're a dime a dozen. All mayabangs. VP Leni isn't mayabang. She doesn't talk, she just walks. One step at a time towards progress for the Philippines. When she lost, I'm sure she was sad. But she continued her works. Because that's what VP Leni is all about. You can't always trust the government. And you can't always trust the people working in government. But you make do. That's what VP Leni is about. She's all about persevering. I'm sure that's why VP Sara paid her a visit. How to shake off mediocrity.
VP Sara is Generation Y
She came of age after President Marcos. Inday Sara only knew a Philippines that was lost. But she can imagine its potential. But not with people like Tulfo and Trillanes. All forma forma. Trillanes like many Filipino males when there's blood in the water will go for the jugular. Run amok. Like a horse with blinders pulling tartanilla. These guys won't see the wider bigger picture in front of them. They are short sighted. Only instant gratification like with marshmallows. Inday Sara kinda has this quality too. This male Filipino shortsightedness. But I think this is just her Dad, which can be easily shed. VP Leni has been doing this for a long time. Guys like Trillanes gatekeep, and she just moves on. No tiny males can tell her what she can and cannot do. Gatekeeping is for lesser imaginations. VP Sara gets inundated by gatekeepers. She paid VP Leni a visit to inquire about how to deal with them.
Philippines is mostly Generation Z and A
Most who will be voting in 2028 will be the generations that came of age during the internet and the eventual spread of smart phones. They don't know anything about Martial Law or the mismanagement that ensued afterwards. Because of BPO and OFW and social media they only know their potential and the previous generations holding them down. They are done with the patriarchy of Philippine society, which embraces Filipino male mediocrity a little too much. They know women are the only ones in the Philippines kicking ass and taking names. They look at VP Leni and they see cool headed calculating leadership. They look at VP Sara and they see a fierce Filipina that is a force of nature who just needs to be guided. Both are equally smart. Both will transform the Philippines for the better.
Elephant in the Room
You have to let go of EJKs. Understand that DU30 was given a mandate by Filipinos for some much needed bloodletting. He campaigned on it. Made promises and was widely popular because of it. Trillanese doesn't understand this. He'll only manage to perpetuate the Philippine tradition of jailing former presidents. Let go. Move past EJKs. VP Leni as VP Sara's ate (or manang in Bisaya) will have a steadier hand. VP Sara because of these attacks by gatekeepers like Trillanes is encouraging her worst. If VP Leni promises to forgive DU30 and cease these ICC threats, you'll not only put an end to this jailing former president tradition, you'll propel better Philippine traditions moving forward. VP Sara will retain her strength, but will gain a lighter touch with VP Leni. They are perfect together.
