Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida, 25, of Limpopo will crown her successor in October 2021. This will be the 62nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects South Africa's official candidates for Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational.

Musida will represent South Africa at Miss World 2021 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 16, 2021 while her runner-up Thato Mosehle, 26, of North West is South Africa's candidate for Miss Supranational 2021 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on August 21, 2021. Miss South Africa 2020 second runner-up Natasha Joubert, 24, of Gauteng was unplaced at Miss Universe 2020 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States on May 16, 2021. 

On July 6, 2021, the Top 30 candidates of Miss South Africa 2021 were announced. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 13 candidates:
