The municipality of Makilala, further promotes the provision of safe and clean sources of water for the people.
In this regard, the Metro Kidapawan Water District or MKWD recently turned over two water impounding projects, in the barangays of Taluntalunan and San Vicente.
Mayor Armando Quibod, through Municipal Administrator Manuel Lalaguna, extended his gratitude to MKWD for the two 300 cubic meter water impounding structures. The projects he said, are proof of providing quality service to the agency's consumers.
On the MKWD side, the leadership stressed the importance of clean and safe water sources to have a healthy and orderly community.
On the other hand, the Department of Health turned over the new Municipal Health Office (MHO) Building to the local government. The facility funded with P17 million, is expected to better meet the needs of the people during this pandemic period.
