As a response to the call of the Nationwide Discount Caravan of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), DTI-Bukidnon, together with the Valencia City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCCI) and the Valencia LGU held a Discount Caravan at the Valencia City Gymnasium, on July 8.

Under the theme "Discount Caravan: Offering Vaccinated Consumers," it aims to continue selling products to the public by offering price discounts especially now during the pandemic.

Eriberto A. Taban-ud, Jr., the provincial director of DTI Bukidnon said the beneficiaries of the event are consumers who have already completed the vaccination for COVID-19 protection.

"Our only beneficiaries are our brothers and sisters who already have' Vaccine Cards. 'Even though only' first-dose 'vaccines are still on the card, they can now avail of the' Discount '. Through this movement, we can help the government encourage the people to get vaccinated, "Taban-ud said.

For this, Valencia City mayor Azucena P. Huervas expressed great gratitude to the DTI Bukidnon and Valencia City Chamber for organizing the event. He said it was a huge initiative and would help the city to convince more people to get vaccinated.

At the same time, DTI Provincial Director Eriberto A. Taban-ud, Jr., thanked the Valencia Chamber and the Valencia City Government for their support of DTI's programs.
