The distribution of cash aid to families affected by the enhanced community quarantine in the National Capital Region has reached more than 60%, according to a report on "24 Oras Weekend" on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Department of the Interior and the Local Government (DILG) said most of the local government units will meet the deadline this August.

No super spreader events were recorded during the distribution, the report added.

DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya also said that the distribution of cash aid during this ECQ was more systematic compared to previous ones as many of the LGUs have begun to use e-payment.

Some LGUs, meanwhile, conduct a house-to-house distribution of aid. -MDM, GMA News
