The Calabarzon Regional Gender and Development Committee, or Calabarzon RDC based in Calamba, Laguna will recognize individuals who have made a unique contribution in advancing the rights of all genders in society.

This year, the Calabarzon RDC reopened the Search for Outstanding GAD Implementer which aims to encourage local governments, as well as government agencies and its related offices.

The Search for CALABARZON Outstanding GAD Implementer is open to all government agencies and its related agencies, State Universities and Colleges, and Government Owned and Controlled Corporations.

However, the CALABARZON RDC clarified that the nomination from such offices, will be separated from their mother agency.

Among the selection criteria are the policies implemented, as well as the roles of staff to promote their office's GAD programs.

The nominee with 81 points will be recognized as the Most Outstanding GAD Implementer in a formal presentation at the Fourth Quarter RDC Full Council Meeting before the end of the year.
