ILIGAN CITY -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in Northern Mindanao (TESDA-X) headed by Regional Director Ashary Banto has led the distribution of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) in Lanao del Norte towns of Kapatagan and Salvador on July 29 and 30, 2021.

This is a part of TESDA's series of distributing disaster response to AICS in Iligan City and Lanao del Norte towns coming from the Office of Senator Cristopher Lawrence "Bong" T. Go (OSBG) Disaster Team and from other government line agencies including TESDA.

Dr. Noralaine R. Rasul, TESDA provincial director for Lanao del Norte, told Philippine Muslim Today there were 627 beneficiaries from Salvador and 656 from Kapatagan.

Rasul said each beneficiary received 3,000 cash, food packs and health protective equipment such as face masks and face shields in order to be protected from the new variant virus 'Delta.'

Rasul said the distribution of the disaster response was facilitated by the staff of TESDA Provincial Office in Lanao del Norte, the personnel of Salvador Trade School Cluster headed by Administrator Engr. Fred Naigue, and in collaboration with various government line agencies in the region.
