Want to try caving while walking in a crystal clear water! Then Matanao most popular Cave is for you. This is Su'bon Cave Subon Cave. Su'bon Cave is home to various distinctive troglofauna and tygofauna. It is surrounded by farm lots owned by the local communities who planted the area with high value commodities of agro-forestry crops. The cave is already being visited by local tourist since its last opening April 8, 2021 and is a community based eco-tourism managed by the Barangay and the Blaan Community of Sition Talambato. The local guides together with the Ganadin family, Sir Marcus, who also owns the land where the cave is situated, together with his son are very hands-on cave guides, trained by the DENR or Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Office. In Matanao, you will be accompanied by trained and dedicated local cave guides and at the same time you cal also contribute to the livelihood of the Blaan community in Barangay Asbang.
