MANILA, Philippines – In Vice President Sara Duterte's first week of office, she announced on her official social media page the opening of satellite offices in several regions; one in Luzon, two in the Visayas, and three satellite offices in Mindanao.

"Sa aking unang buong araw bilang bise presidente, nagbukas po tayo ng mga satellite office sa iba't-ibang bahagi ng bansa upang matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na magkaroon ng madali at agarang access sa mga serbisyong mula sa Office of the Vice President."

(In my first full day as Vice President, we opened satellite offices in various parts of the country to help our fellow citizens to have easy and immediate access to services from the Office of the Vice President.)

The new offices are now open in Dagupan City for the Ilocos Region, Cebu City for Central Visayas, Tacloban for Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga City for Western Mindanao, Tandag City in Surigao del Sur for Eastern Mindanao, and Davao City for Southern Mindanao.
