Landslides, floods in Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol due to non-stop rain

"That is why, we are warning residents to take extra caution, be more vigilant as we expect concerned local government units to be closely monitoring condition to ensure safety of people," Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents in Visayas, Mindanao and Bicol Region to take extra precaution against possible flooding and landslides brought about by non-stop rainfall. Pagasa weather forecaster Patrick del Mundo told media that rain caused by shear line , the point where cold and warm air converge and low pressure area (LPA) may cause flooding and landslides in these areas.
