Content creator Erwan Heussaff's food blog FEATR has just been recognized by the prestigious James Beard Media Awards; winning the Social Media Account category from an award-giving body that is considered the "Oscars of Culinary World".
On Instagram, Erwan uploaded a couple of photos as he dedicate his success to the Philippines.
"I'm still shaking. We made it!" he wrote in the caption of the pictures; adding three Philippine flag emojis.
It can be recalled that the content creator shared earlier how happy he is for being one of the nominees over a decade since his blog was founded; saying it doesn't matter anymore whether he makes it or not because being nominated in itself is truly a blessing to be grateful for.

"I'm nominated for a James Beard Award (Social Media Category)! Woke up to the exciting news yesterday and it just makes me more determined to keep going. To be recognized internationally by such an amazing platform is so motivating. It all started as a food blog to help people eat healthy. After 12 years, three studio builds, countless cooking videos, and short documentaries later, it finally feels like we are hitting our stride. Whether I make it or not, it doesn't really matter!" he expressed.
"With FEATR @featrmedia we are working towards building a proudly Filipino, digital video-focused, food media outlet. Showcasing stories and voices that need to be heard from our beautiful islands through TV-caliber content. I hope we can enter a bunch of our videos in next year's awards. I've basically grown professionally publicly on the internet and I just want to say thank you to our amazing community who've been interested in what we've been doing over the last few years," he went on.
According to Erwan, his team has just started and there's more to come as he and his FEATR family pursue their passion and goals, "We are on track to document all Filipino heritage salts this year, incredible local products, and continue to shoot as many provinces as possible; giving light to the people who make all these places special and hopefully raising awareness and pride along the way. Yes, we still do branded work and that's what helps fund everything else we do! We're just getting started!"
