Early this year it was announced the comeback concert of one of my favorite bands, One Ok Rock. They supposedly had their concert last 2020 but due to the pandemic it was halted. Come three years later, they're gonna be back!
I was ecstatic. I put it on my calendar, turned on notifications of Pulp Live World on Twitter and got updated to fan pages. It was also announced that the previous tickets of Eyes of the Storm Concert will be considered as a ticket for the Luxury Disease Tour Concert. Knowing that the previous ticket was sold-out, I had a very slim chance to get one. They've opened slots. I was there waiting for my chance but I accepted I can't have that, not yet.
It was fun though. It was my first time queuing up like that.
I am well aware of that slim chance but I still pursue my love of these men!
I am just excited for the next.
Last Tuesday they finally came back to the Philippines. What sight seeing videos and photos from the concert from my fellow OOR hearts. I couldn't help but to rock my heart as well seeing them even with the photos and videos. They didn't age! They still rock.
I may not look like someone who listens to Japanese rock bands, but yes I do. They are an exception together with some other few bands too.
Stakes may seem a bit high next time but definitely I won't miss it anymore!
For now, I'm gonna be in my playlist mode streaming their concert setlist.
Can I just say the choir-like performance of Your Tears are Mine brings me a lot of emotions. A rock band conducting like Jacob Collier for the audience to sing together? Come on, Taka just did that. And it's one of my favorite tracks from the latest album.
Okay, hibernating for a while with their songs.
それまでワンオクロック!!!
