"πππ’πΈ π―π¨ π΅π’π©π’π―π’π―" –our mothers are called such as it emphasizes the important role they play in the household. Since my father got sick, my mother has been the light and pillar of our home. I admire her for her sacrificial love for us. There were times that she would work long hours to earn and provide for the needs of the family.
The Gospel reminds me of what a confessor once counselled me: the heart of a disciple must create spaces not disabled by the past but empowered by transformation. Jesus invited women with their own personal histories and formed them to accompany Him and His apostles on mission. Christ inspired women to believe in their capacity to make a difference in the world by following His example. My mother, in her God-given role, continues to show us what it means to live a life of purpose and faith. We thank the Lord for them—women who walk with Jesus and who are models of dedication and service.
