I haven't written anything on my blog for so long and I miss you all guys. Finally, restrictions were lifted and I got many opportunities to travel and work as a digital nomad again. I had a chance to go to Korea again, which has been my dream trip since 2020 but then the pandemic came. I won an airfare ticket to Seoul from the Korea Tourism Organization. The event was amazing, filled with K-pop dances, fun, and games. It was also a seminar where I got to know about new places that are rare for tourists to visit. I was hungry during the event, but my best friend Alex saved me with macaroons. I wanted to win Samsung earpods as the prize, not the airfare ticket haha.
Patience is a virtue, they say, and it paid off for me. After waiting for so long, the grand prize was finally announced, and guess what? My number was called! I couldn't believe it when I found out that I won a free ticket to Korea. It was like a dream come true! I felt so motivated to work harder and save more money for my trip. And thanks to my awesome Japanese CEO, I got a big Christmas bonus that I can use as my pocket money. I feel so lucky and can't wait to start my adventure!
I recently got a Korean Visa amidst a pandemic, which was pretty nerve-wracking. But I stayed positive and thankfully, everything went smoothly. The HR department of my company took a while to give me my income tax return, which was the most stressful part. I'm sharing some photos of the event, and I'm hoping to attend this seminar again. I was thrilled to share my experience getting a visa with my friends and a Facebook group where everyone was asking for tips on securing a visa.
