The University of the Philippines National Center for Transportation Studies (UP NCTS) will host a session on "Motorcycle Safety and Insurance" on April 5, Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Organized by the Traffic Engineering and Management (TEM) – Road Safety Research Laboratory (RSRL), this webinar is designed to delve into important insights on motorcycle safety and insurance practices. The event is free and will be held online via Zoom.
The webinar will tackle the following:
1. Enhancing Motorcycle Safety through Insurance Awareness with Mr. Michael F. Rellosa, Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Association (PIRA) Executive Director
2. Compulsory Third-Party Liability / Statistical Analysis of Motorcycle Crashes with Mr. Danilo J. Encela, Acting Chief of Land Transportaiton Office (LTO)'s Traffic Safety Division
Aside from the topics above, the webinar will also be an excellent opportunity to hear from industry leaders and experts in motorcycle safety and insurance. The event is hoped to promote responsible practices in motorcycle safety and insurance concerns.
