(BPCI) has announced exciting updates for the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2024, including new crowns and increased prizes for the winners. These updates were revealed during a press presentation at the New Frontier Theater on June 7. Event Highlights: - New Crowns: Current titleholders Bb. Pilipinas International Angelica Lopez and Bb. Pilipinas Globe Anna Lakrini will crown their successors with newly designed crowns. Crafted by jeweler Manny Halasan, these crowns feature ethical diamonds and are inspired by the iconic Bb. Pilipinas logo.
- Increased Prizes: The pageant has also raised the stakes with bigger cash prizes. The two runners-up will each receive P400,000, while the winners of the Bb. Pilipinas International and Bb. Pilipinas Globe titles will be awarded P1 million each.
Press Presentation: - Candidate Showcase: Forty candidates showcased their pasarela skills in swimsuits designed by Dia Ali and shoes by MariQueen PH during the press presentation. This event follows a swimsuit fashion show held last month at The Lagoon in Gateway Mall 2.
Grand Coronation Night: - Date and Venue: The grand coronation night is scheduled for July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
- Performances and Hosts: The event will feature performances by P-pop group SB19, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera. Former Binibini queens Catriona Gray, Nicole Cordovez, MJ Lastimosa, and Kylie Versoza will host the event.
