According to the Cebu Police, the suspect became furious over the victim's complaints. During their argument, the victim reportedly threw the first punch. In response, the suspect pulled out a sickle from his waist and slashed the victim's neck. Despite his injury, the victim managed to seek help and was quickly taken to the hospital by responders. The suspect was arrested on charges of frustrated homicide but has remained silent about the incident. Police Col.
