Melissa Ricks has inspired fans and fellow celebrities by sharing her impressive weight loss journey, revealing that she lost 21 pounds in just two months.
The celebrity mom posted before and after photos of herself in workout clothes on her Instagram page on Wednesday, July 31, crediting her doctor for guiding her through the process.
"Doc says, 'Long way to go,' but it's reachable," she wrote. "This is for me, for my kids, and for my wellbeing."
Ricks emphasized the importance of discipline and determination in achieving her goals. "It takes a lot of discipline and guidance. Don't be stubborn. You need to have your mind made up that you can do it, and you really can!"
While acknowledging that returning to her 100-pound weight from her younger years is not a realistic goal, she and her doctor have set a "possible and doable goal."
"Watch us do it. [Minus] 31 lbs—21 lbs of those pounds in almost eight weeks," she added.
