P-Pop sensations SB19 and BINI are set to make waves in Seoul, South Korea, as they take the stage at the prestigious Billboard K Power 100 event. The event, organized by Billboard Korea, will be held on August 27 at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall of The Shilla Seoul.
SB19, known as the P-Pop Kings, and BINI, dubbed the Nation's Girl Group, were selected by Billboard Philippines to represent Filipino music at the event. SB19 is expected to deliver a powerful performance of their hit single "Gento," while BINI will captivate the audience with their latest chart-topping track "Cherry on Top."
In addition to their performances, both groups will be honored with the "Voices of Asia" award. This special recognition from Billboard Philippines highlights their groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their tireless efforts in championing P-pop on the global stage.
The Billboard K Power 100 event will also feature top K-Pop artists, Brazilian pop star Luísa Sonza, Billboard executives, and other industry leaders, making it a significant platform for SB19 and BINI to showcase Filipino talent.
SB19's appearance at the event follows their recent victory in the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off 2024, and their history-making achievements as the first Filipino artists to be nominated for Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021. Meanwhile, BINI recently returned from a performance at KCON LA and is gearing up for their two-night Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum in November.
