UP grads dominate August 2024 Environmental Planner Exam

Graduates from UP dominated the August 2024 Environmental Planners Licensure Examination. UP Diliman (UPD) came out as the top performing school, with 59 out of 63 test takers (93.65%) passing the exam.

Leading the successful examinees at number one is UPD's Marco Antonino Javier with a rating of 84.30%. Following him at the second spot are John Andrew Cruz of the UP Open University (UPOU) and Raven Hipolito of UPD, both of whom passed the exam with a 83.95% rating.

Meanwhile, UPD grad Theresse Julia sits at third with a rating of 83.90%, followed by fellow UPD alum, Ian Kenneth Diñgal, who achieved an 83.65% rating. Ranked fifth and sixth are more UPD grads: Jun Prosini Anave, with a rating of 83.45%, and Kinna Mae Kwan, with a rating of 81.95%, respectively.

Landing at seventh is Zeilani Dale Galicia of UPOU, with a rating of 81.85%, followed by number eight passer, Mary Ann Marcellones of UP Tacloban College (UPTC), who finished the exam with a 80.95% rating. 

Sharing ninth place are Gabrielle Bagarra of UP Mindanao (UPMin) and Louie Robert C. Posadas of UPD, both having an 80.80% rating. And wrapping up the list of the top ten passers is Alvin John Pajo of UPD at number ten, with an 80.75% rating.

Aside from UPD, several constituent universities of the national university also posted inspiring passing rates: UP Visayas at 91.67% with 22 out of its 24 examinees passing the exam; UPOU at 80.00%, with 24 out of their 30 examinees passing with flying colors; and UP Los Baños at 100%, with all of its eight examinees successfully negotiating the exam. Meanwhile UP Cebu, UPMin, and UPTC, all had their respective lone examinees pass the test.

Only UPD was declared as the top performing school for the exam, as it had more than 30 examinees who took the test, as well as posting more than an 80% passing rate.

A total of 348 examinees from all over the country took the exam, from which only 258 passed, resulting in an overall passing rate of 74.14%.
