The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region XI held a Records Management Training to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the Davao Region. This initiative aimed to equip business owners and managers with essential skills to manage their records more effectively, enhancing their operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
The training, conducted by Engr. Angelica C. Fraginal, a renowned expert in records management and quality systems, was meticulously designed to cover all critical aspects of the discipline.
Participants gained valuable insights into topics such as the Overview of Records Management, Records Retention System, Files Management System, and Records Center Operations. These topics were explored through detailed discussions and interactive workshops, ensuring that attendees could apply the knowledge directly to their business operations.
DOST XI Regional Director Dr. Anthony C. Sales emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the local economy.
