The strikes, which occurred on the evening of September 27, 2024, targeted Hezbollah's command center amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and the Lebanon-based militant group. The embassy urged Filipinos in the area to stay away from the southern suburbs of Beirut and other regions previously flagged in earlier advisories. They also reiterated the importance of considering leaving Lebanon, especially for undocumented Filipinos, and advised coordinating with Lebanese authorities to secure exit clearances.
