The rankings, based on a survey of 17,000 people worldwide, evaluated countries across 73 attributes tied to modern success and development. The Philippines earned a total score of 25.0 and ranked 19th in the "Open for Business" category, which highlights favorable conditions like lower costs and taxes for businesses. Switzerland topped the list as the "Best Country for 2024," followed by Japan and the United States in second and third place, respectively. The ranking methodology was developed by WPP's BAV brand analytics tool in collaboration with Professor David Reibstein from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. | | | |
