Collin Morikawa is an American professional golfer of Japanese and Chinese descent. He was born in Los Angeles, California, United States to Blaine Morikawa and Debbie Morikawa.

After graduating from La Cañada High School in La Cañada Flintridge, California, Collin went to the University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley, California. He played golf while attending the university where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration.
