The Department of Information and Communications Technology or DICT has already launched 33 Technology for Economic Development or Tech4ED Centers throughout the province of Nueva Ecija.

DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan II said, that apart from the Free Wi-fi for All Program, the department is also busy implementing other projects in the province.

He said the establishment of Tech4Ed Centers are located in various schools, local governments, libraries in the cities of Cabanatuan, Palayan, San Jose and the towns of Bongabon, Quezon, Talavera and others.

The purpose of the program is to give young people, job seekers and other citizens free access to the internet that can be used in their education, job search or employment as well as bring government programs closer.

The secretary also mentioned the agency's programs in promoting the Electronic Business Permit and Licensing System or e-BPLS which are seen as a way to reduce the queue of business permit holders and other necessary documents for doing business.

He also added that the department will continue to adjust to further expedite the provision of services needed by the people.

He also reported that the provision of trainings and innovative start-ups for those who want to start a business, as well as Digital Jobs Philippines continues to benefit not only micro, small and medium enterprises but also workers or workers.
